For me this is simple. I fill in the extension of stay. Get to the bank to get the statement, that I got over 800.000 in the bank. But for the extension of my wife, I guess she needs the same paper, but with reason that she follow her husband. But it is not clear to me if she needs anything else, also another statement of the bank I have the money.

OPI gues you changed your visa into an stamp from Immigration with the text Extension of Stay permitted up to xx/xx/xx with the extra stamp "retired"
I guess your wife has a stamp in her passport Extension of Stay permitted up to xx/xx/xx which is the same date as the date mentioned in your stamp.
