Tod Daniels Hello brother (in Christ) may I ask you that, I'm an Indian staying in Bangkok with my Thai wife and one child for last 5 years. With Non O visa based on marriage. By next month I want to travel to Malaysia with my wife and child. so my question is after I get re entry stamp.when I back to Thailand again do I need to show 20k cash to IO or I might ask for that? And yet I'm not holding a work permit, is there will be some problems ?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian expat residing in Bangkok on a Non-O visa based on marriage inquires about the cash requirements upon re-entering Thailand from Malaysia. After obtaining a re-entry stamp, he is concerned about needing to show 20,000 Baht at immigration, especially since he does not hold a work permit.
