The requirements haven't been fully developed, but it's clear the only foreigners who qualify are investors, venture capitalists, highly skilled workers (accountants, industrial engineers, etc.) and high-level executives of MNCs. Digital nomads like digital marketers, drop shippers, webpage designers and other non-traditional workers will not qualify. I'm not sure why the DMs keep posting about the smart visa like it will be their long-term stay solution.

I don't know why people jumped on this visa as an option for the digital nomads because you couldn't find a visa class LESS suited for them :/
