I would really appreciate some advice. I am going to apply for my DTV visa as someone who works for a company outside of Thailand. I work remotely for an educational company, and I have worked with them since 2023. I have an ongoing contract, but I am a bit worried that on my contract it states it is a zero hour contract. It says when I started the job, but does not give any end date, as it is just ongoing. As mentioned, I have worked with this company since 2023 and I have just got my schedule for continuing work for September - it is semester based, so I work September to end of November and then again February to May every year. Do you think this is OK, or do I need additional information of support. Thank you for any help you can give.
Hi All, If applying as a digital nomad what documents would be required if I have not incorporated my company yet? Please only respond if you are certain and have been in my shoes. Thanks in advance!
After a 90 days visa. I would like to ask for a DTV 5 years multiple entry. As a pensioner so I have to invoke another reason such as taking Thai courses or still for medical care. My question is what are the certificates to be provided (type of establishment, duration.. ) to avoid being excluded from this visa. Thank you for your advice.

Bonjour
1. For the financial proof, does the 3 months of bank statements all have to show over 20,000 baht for each month or is it just the most recent balance.
2. can i use an cash ISA as proof of funds
3. If my plan is to fly to BKK from uk , return to the uk, and then fly back to BKK over a month later , Should I show all of these flights on the application.
Question: We are trying to plan for my Thai girlfriend to visit the UK for for the first time, for a short period, probably in the region of 5 days, plus a 7 day cruise to the Norwegian Fjords sandwiched in the middle. She has done group/family travel to the Schengen Zone a couple of times without any visa issues. In an attempt to get the UK Standard Visitor Visa application to go through smoothly, what kind of amount of funds does she need to prove to have in her bank account to satisfy UK immigration requirement for the visa application, bearing in mind she will only be in the UK for about 5 days on this first visit?
Return flight ticket, accommodation booked, having a educated and decent job, own house, family commitments, never overstayed anywhere, seems to tick most other boxes to satisfy the application. Just needing an idea of the amount of funds in her account that she will need to show, to allow the application to go smoothly
I’m applying for the DTV at the Thai embassy in Jakarta and wanted to check something. I’ve had over 500,000 baht in my savings account for a bit more than 2 months (but not quite 3 months yet). The funds were transferred from a term deposit account into my savings account more than 2 months ago. Do you think that will be sufficient for the embassy to approve the visa?
Also, would adding a Thai bank account (alongside my non-Thai one) help increase the chances of approval? Or would that just complicate things?
The official website says a 3-month bank statement is required—do you think it’s safer to submit a 6-month statement instead?
If you have any relevant experience or helpful info, I’d really appreciate your input. Thanks in advance!
I'm currently in Thailand on tourist visa and want come back next month to my country - Poland and apply for dtv digital nomad.
I will start my work remotely in next week:
Can this be a problem if I start working while being in Thailand or I am overthinking?or maybe better start work when I will be back in Poland but them I will have agreement only for one week...
Does someone has example of statement which my employee must fulfil ?
Can they ask about my bank statement from few months or only current month?
