Hi All. I'm working on application for non O retirement +50. They are looking for bank statements for 3 months showing 800,000 + in home bank . I have that.But also a sponsor letter. What is a sponsor letter? How do I get or show it.

Am I correct to assume when applying for an extension on a non o (marriage based) I need to bring the map and family photos at that time?

Is it mandatory to have a hotel and flight booked in TH prior to submit the application?

First I need to know if my visa will be approved, then I plan my trip. It's a common sense.

I'll be applying workcation from my home country in case it matters.

The user manual.pdf from their website mark accomodation and flight as mandatory, but the examples are for different visas, such as tourist and diplomatic visa.

Any clarification would be helpful.

Hi everyone, I need clarification about the flight requirement for the DTV visa.

I already booked a 7-day round-trip ticket to Thailand for my upcoming trip.

Some people say that for the DTV application, I must show an onward/exit flight 90 days after my arrival, not earlier.

Is this true?

Do I really need to provide a flight booking that is more than 90 days away,

or is my current 7-day round-trip ticket acceptable for the DTV pre-approval?

Has anyone successfully applied with a short-term return ticket (like 1 week or 10 days)?

For showing proof of funds - does it matter if it's a joint account with two names? (Someone told me that for a retirement visa, that means you'd have to prove double the amount)...

I’m planning to apply for my DTV from Colombo Sri Lanka. I transfered the money to my personal account on september 16th.

That means I can provide a 500k+ bankstatement for the following months:

September (only closing statement of 500k +)

October (start 500k+ end 500k+)

November (start 500k+ 24th november 500k+)

Is this enough?

Do I provide all my bank statements and transaction or only closing and opening balance?

Do I need to have all the documents I have translated into English certified when submitting my DTV visa application?
