Hi I've entered Bali via the gates at immigration without a stamp last week and was applying this week for Dtv visa. I have the email of the e visa as a pdf and I assumed that was sufficient to show evidence but I've read contradictory views on that and the Muai Thai gym I plan to apply for Petchnumnoi Gym ( Sitnumnoi&Singpatong) via there webpage chat wasn't sure also, I have seen one post of someone stating they had the same experience but not any clear solution to the issue, I've been following this group and greatly appreciate any feedback. Thank you.
I am in Vietnam (Hanoi) now finalizing DTV business owner application) and have a question about brokerage accounts, I’m using to only store cash.
I have a Robinhood account and my cash has been sitting there for a year with no investments earning 4% interest. It shows it 100% cash on the statements. Anyone have experience in how to present this since it’s not a “traditional” bank? Do I need some kind of cover letter, or additional evidence? Thank you! 🙏
Applied via the London Embassy. For DTV Freelance.
I just quit my job and am about to start my Freelance business. I currently have 0 clients and therefore £0 income yet, but I have my own website showcasing my abilities and portfolio of websites I launched as learning projects. I am planning to gain clients while in Thailand. I have already provided 3 months' bank statement of >500K Baht. I did mention in the application that I was of Freelance Status and No Income.
I have been asked to provide:
* Other request documents: - A recently letter confirming employment/contract details from your contractor or client stating your position and work role as remotely worker in Thailand (address to Royal Thai Embassy in London) signed by an authorised person.
* Other request documents: - Self assessment tax return / Statement of accounts / Accountant's letter / Personal tax calculation or computation statement from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) (Apart form your name, you can conceal any details that you would not want to show.)
* Other request documents: - Please upload your bank statement showing your monthly income transactions for last 3 months. (Please highlight income transactions from work. Screenshots are not accepted).
Would appreciate some help and clarity on the last 2 requests on what documents they are trying to acquire. Do I submit my tax documents from HRMC even though they were from my last employment? Do I create an LTD?
Please correct me if this is completely wrong or just a puerile question, but do I get it right that, no matter via which Embassy you apply, it's likely that DTVisa applications for Digital Nomads where the applicant is forcing to keep doing his/her remote job abroad are supposed to hand work contracts/arrangements, portfolios (or just one of the last three ones) AND documents that show monthly income (based on their profession) while DTV applications of people who are willing to participate in Thai Soft Powers (like cooking class or Muay Thai course) are "only" supposed to include a bank account that is well balanced (B 500,000, for the past three months at least) and the confirmation of that particular Thai soft power/cultural course?
Sometimes it seems unpredictable which argumentation is received well by the Thai embassies.
Is it counterproductive to include proof of a remote job arrangement of your company (thus, a monthly income) when you are determined to "only" participate in a Muay Thai course? Some Embassies can be very erratic when it comes to the constellation of your application's legend 🙄
I’m a Danish applicant for the Thailand Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). Does anyone know if Danish documents (e.g., CVR business registration, birth certificates, or marriage certificates) need to be apostille-stamped in Denmark to be accepted as valid documentation for the DTV application? Or would it be sufficient to have them translated by an approved Thai translator, like Sawadee Translation? Any insights or experiences from fellow Danes would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Hello i have a question, is it consideret to book a flight in advanced even without having th DTV visa allready? and how about the Accomodation? I guess not everybody stay in the same place the whole time…
I'm planning to head to Melbourne Aus in October for about a week to visit friends and family. (I'm a UK citizen so that's easy)
I'd like to take my Thai partner with me. Can anyone whose done it recently advise on the type of short term visa for a thai citizen and what Aus immigration will look for in terms of requirements?
