Good morning and thank you all for helping.

BUT, yeah you now this grumpy old man always has a but.

Question: I came into Thailand and got a 30 day Tourist Visa on arrival because I'm a married old man working as a volunteer at the local supermarket and learning Thai at the international school of day dreaming.

The Immigration officer in the office told me I need a visa?

Terminology, a difficult word for me to write, but my computer has spelling control.

Please use the correct name for what you like to ask, this as I just look at a screen with letters, I or others can NOT see your passport, We can not go from page to page to see your history, the stamps the visa's,

We see text, the same as you see and read,

What kind of shirt and color I wear will be the question for you to answer?

Picture 1: an Entry stamp into Thailand.

Picture 2, the Visa On Arrival

Picture 3: a Visa, most of the time a sticker you applied for at a Thai Consulate

Picture 4: a Visa, applied for at a Thai Immigration Office

Picture 5: an Extension of Stay

Picture 6: Re-Entry Permit

Please check before you comment.

Telling a person you can not and have to go abroad, which cost much more money than the visit to the Immigration Office is not the most nice advice to give.

The moderators and Admin understand that you do not know all the differences and details (It took us also a long time to know what we know and we are still learning) but be careful with your advice, by doubt, just read and scroll to the next question.

If you ask a question and are not sure what is what, make a picture, delete personal information and share it.

It will save time in finding the correct answer.
