TLDR : Answer Summary

Why is the web link for FN hotel?

it was supposed to be only for hotels, but to many house owners wanted to use the link, name is never adjusted.

So many foreigners using it but it is from Thai Immigration, you can not write a positive review, unless you use an unknown nickname😉😉

I have an extension of stay based on a retirement visa & would love to use the 90 day online reporting, but having asked at my local immigration office in Koh Samui, they have told me on 3 separate occasions that I can't (they do not accept it). I know that many other people in my area do use the online reporting. Do you know if it is actually another matter that is down to each Immigration office whether or not they accept the online procedure? I will check with them again when I report in March.

Make sure your browser is Explorer 11. But I think Chrome will now also work.

Time constraints are; From 14 to 7 days before expiry of current 90 day report. After that a personal visit is required...Give it a go. As already said if it doesn't work you then do personally...

@Di***
why not try and do it online at the earliest possible time and see if you get confirmation through before the last day you could go in person. If it goes through you’ve saved a trip, and all future trips. If not, well, you’ve lost nothing.

(Im not sure of the time constraints involved when reporting online vs in person)

If but only if and you have to promise to not hold me personal accountable for this answer as this is pure guessing from my side.

If the Immigration Officer told you for what ever reason you may know but I have absolute no idea, that you can not do an on line report but all the others on Koh Samui can do, visit the Immigration Office and make the reports there as told.

BUT I would never ask this on Facebook, when I know many foreigners use the on line systems to report, I will tell the Immigration Officer I will do the same, if he/she likes it or not.

many people in your area use the on line reporting without problems but immigration refuse that people in your area use the on line reporting. What are you trying to tell us?

I've just applied ( about 1 hour agao) using an iMac and it has been accepted into the system, so I'm waiting for a reply. Caution , one time it got refused which meant I had to go to CM immigration who sorted it out in 5 minutes. Waiting now.

no reply from them, submitted this morning, nothing yet!

If you have one account working, why do you need another account? unless you own multiple properties.

If you already have the system setup on normal computer can you login to the app with the same credentials?

Yes, you can.

Now if they could just tie their databases together so that you don't have to leave and reenter the country to get online 90 day reporting to work when you have just got a new passport !!!
Richard *******
I have had 17 passports in the last 38 years, everyone changed because they were full. I have seen repeated posts where this should be possible but in my case the reality was they do not seem competent enough to do it.

you don't have to leave the country if you get a new passport. You visit Immigration with the letter from your Embassy, get your Extension of Stay and re-entry transferred into your new passport, go to the desk for 90 day reports section and ask them to update the database.

Must only be available in the Thai App Store

Just use the browser version. Apps have embedded tracking Trojans

I much prefer to go there. My friends upstairs make nice coffee 😉

You can change the country on your iPhone temporarily to download the app.
