Print screen of the CAAT announcemnent,

I did not care the type of aircraft's, their duties or emergency landings, as I understand if a captain is calling mayday mayday he is allowed to land.

In point 2, 11 point with people to enter Thailand and be aware of point 3 of this announcement, the normal rules still apply.

3. Aircraft and passengers or persons entering the Kingdom under No.2 must comply with the conditions, time limits and rules of the authorized persons under the Thai immigration law, communicable diseases law, air navigation law, and the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situation in force, for prevention of the disease and the organization of the number of persons entering Thailand in accordance with the screening capability of the competent officers or the communicable disease control officers, and the arrangement of quarantine facilities.

We can read the same information as you, please if it is not on the list do not ask why, when it will be or could it be,

Thai visa advice is to help you to find a way with visa and or Extension of Stay. We do our best to provide advice but we do not make the rules or are invited at the rule making meetings.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The CAAT announcement outlines the conditions for aircraft and passengers entering Thailand, mandating compliance with various Thai laws to prevent diseases and manage entry numbers. It emphasizes that aircraft in distress have landing priority and clarifies visa requirements, including the necessity for a Non-B Visa to obtain a work permit.

Hi, is a Non-B visa considered ‘a valid Work permit’?

I am on amnesty now and need to leave to obtain a new non-B in July.

This is an example of a work permit, it is a separate booklet

@Robert ******
The post hasn’t mentioned anything about non-B visa so does it mean I won’t be able to come back in on that visa?

To hold a Non Immigrant B visa, you need a Work Permit. The post mention people who can enter Thailand, if you like or need to work inside Thailand your need a work permit and as written in point 3 of this announcement you need to follow the Immigration rules and therefor you need a Non Immigrant B visa.

@Robert ******
Sorry, bear with me I am a little confused here. I thought you need to have a non-B visa before you apply for a work permit?

In my case I have set up a company here, I was on ED visa which expired in May, and now I need to get my work permit ASAP. But before that, I need to leave Thailand, apply for non-B before getting the work permit at an immigration office.

@Rachel *****
no, you business partners visit the ministry of labor and apply for a Work Permit,

As you do not have a valid visa, the best option is that they use the Work Permit application method 3, When all documents handed in correctly they get the WP3 form, which you need to apply for the Non Immigrant B visa at a Thai Consulate.

Ok, so sounds like I need to get a work permit before I leave Thailand in July, and then come back on the non-B which I obtained from the Thai consulate?

Point 4: People with PR-status or maby owning condo enough ?
Benjamin ******
Nope, point 4 is for people with PR status (those who have to enter Thailand at least once a year)

Thank one question in this group the holder of APEC cars are allowed to come in?
Benjamin ******
I do not see APAC listed, so they are not allowed to come in at this time.

An aircraft in distress (having announced "mayday" or "pan") is not only allowed to land where the captain wants to, it has absolute priority over everything else, including the Second Coming and/or Rapture.
