TLDR : Answer Summary
Rocky Stealth inquired about the current requirements for a marriage visa in Thailand, specifically regarding the financial requirement of having 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account for two months prior to application. The clarification provided indicates that the amount does not have to originate from overseas; it can be transferred from the spouse's account to the applicant's account.

Does the 400,000 have to come from overseas. Or for example can the wife transfer 400k from her account to your named account?

Just as guess you mean you like to visit your local Immigration Offica and apply for an Extension of Stay based on married to a Thai National, one of the possibilities to meet the financial requirements is 400.000 Thb into a Thai bank account on your name for at least 2 months prior the application date. Depending on Immigration Office you could be asked to keep the amount in the bank during your 30 days under consideration time.
