Just asking in other topics is not the way to go:

Gary Wyse I will ask a question on this thead. I am going Thailand for 27 day December 2nd, can i book a hotel for 4 days for TM30?

he got some answers:

Are you leaving after 27 days or intending to extend?

[Gary Wyse]([members only]) leaving, back to the UK

What do you mean by "book a hotel for 4 days"? The TM 30 will be filed by the hotel.

In that case don't even think about the TM30. A TM30 non-filing will only bite you if you need to do business with immigration

[Gary Wyse]([members only]) Meaning is 4 days ok at immigration at bangkok

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 is a requirement for reporting your arrival in Thailand, filed by your hotel within 24 hours of your arrival. Your stay duration (27 days) does not affect the TM30 reporting, and as a tourist, it is generally not a concern unless you need to interact with immigration.

The TM30 is a document used to report your arrival within 24 hour at an address in Thailand. The amount of days you spent inside Thailand is not important. I not understand your is 4 days ok at immigration. The land owner, house owner, house master, the possessor or the manager of the hotel where you stay report you at that address within 24 hours after your arrival.
