Christina Scubabe is hijacking other posts, so:

Robert Lagas he had same employer just moved hotel 🤦‍♀️ instead of nit picking and trolling do have answer?

He had all the paperwork, and his work place covered him with a flight, the 20k and everything he needed for the 30 day except but they wouldn’t do it. But suggested to go to the local embassy which he did and got 2 weeks why his work processed the paperwork and then he went to Malaysia. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Boyfriend tried this last month, had 20,000, a flight ticket and they still didn’t let him.

Good thing is they won’t let you out unless they let you back it, so she won’t be stuck in Burma.

They told him to get an extension from the Embassy near where he lives. He ended up going to the embassy and they gave him an extension of 2 weeks, then went down to Penang after.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion highlights an individual's experience with immigration challenges in Thailand, particularly regarding visa extensions and re-entry processes. A user shared that despite having documentation, flights, and funds, their boyfriend faced difficulties at immigration, being denied an exit without a proper extension. It mentions that he sought help from the local embassy, which granted a short extension while processing the paperwork. Other comments inquire about the specifics of visa types, the nationality of the individuals involved, and clarify procedures for visa extensions and re-entries, emphasizing that the embassy typically does not offer 2-week extensions.

And as Christina Scubabe did not like to get an answer and blocked me for that, I used the good bye button.

But I'm nice, I did not block you from the group, just kicked you out so you can not comment or post anymore. If you still like to have advice or advice for your boyfriend unblock me and ask me.

Good luck.

But just as a guess, your boy friend did have an Extension of Stay based on employment which was still valid inside his passport. Your boyfriend just went to a border and tried to get a Visa Exempt Entry.

Your boyfriend forgot that he had to pass the Immigration Office first to cancel his Extension of Stay before he can make his way to the border.

I guess he had one week of stay left on this Extension of Stay.

When he came back home, he asked around and suddenly realized that he need to go to the Immigration Office, so he went and the Immigration Officer was so nice to cancel his Extension of Stay at the already existing last date, let him apply for a new Extension of Stay at the cost of 1.900 Thb and gave him the stamp Extension of Stay not approved and 7 days to leave the country on top of his normal Extension, which is as you count together 2 weeks.

There is NO Embassy in Thailand that is allowed to give a person a period of 2 weeks legal stay?

There is no 2 week Extension of Stay?

Please explain what really happened?

Did your boy friend had a Visa and left every 90 days Thailand to get a new Visa or did you report himself at Immigration every 90 days as part of his Extension of Stay based on working?

He had the same, only changed hotel?

Do you mean both hotels are owned by the same company ltd, same share holders list, all documents the same?

1. What's his nationality?

2. What border was he trying to use?

3. Why would it take 2 weeks to process a Non-B visa?
