Visited Krabi Immigration for Extension of Stay based on Marriage. My income statement from Embassy was not enough, this to mistake on my side. I got the 60 days Extension to visit my wife. Got a new statement from Embassy who now add the tax refunds as income to my pension. Went again Krabi Immigration yesterday, all good even with a exchange rate of 38 Thb against 1 Euro. I have to bring extra copies of the first page and updated last page of Thai Bank book, officer explained that now the papers go for consideration to Bangkok in stead of Had Yai and Bangkok wants to see that you use a Thai bank if you live here. Already stamped with the 30 day under consideration stamp and will bring Monday the extra requested copies. Good service.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their experience at Krabi Immigration when applying for a 60-day Extension of Stay due to marriage. Initially, their income statement from the Embassy was inadequate, but after obtaining a new statement reflecting tax refunds as part of their income, the second visit was successful. They were advised to provide extra copies of their Thai bank book, as applications are now sent to Bangkok for approval, which has specific requirements, such as proof of using a Thai bank. The user noted the good service received during the process.

Glad to hear you had good service too as I had yesterday at Nong Khai Border Crossing.

By given me 3 extra days to bring a copy of a bankbook I would not say it is more difficult, other option is just send me away and come back and try all over again.
