Yes, for sure we also did see the new Notification of Changing.

You can read by using this link, on top left, you can change from Thai into English.

And as we all knew the enforcement differed at the Immigration Offices, a change would hopefully lead to one rule fits all, but that would be wishful thinking.

So our advice stays the same:

CONTACT YOUR LOCAL IMMIGRATION OFFICE,

[members only]

We will delete all other new posts linked to this subject.

Thanks for understanding.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent notifications regarding immigration changes in Thailand have caused some confusion among expats. Key points highlighted include the differing enforcement at various immigration offices and clarifications needed on specific clauses, especially concerning the inability to stay at notified addresses. The advice remains to directly contact local immigration offices for accurate guidance, as the rules may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Now the points 2.2 and 2.3.

Nothing new under the sun, as we never did.

A long as you stay inside Thailand and be part of this long list of foreigners, forget point 2.2 and 2.3

Just to highlight a few things. The changes are in points

2.1, 2.3 and 2.3.

Big question for me is, reading point 2.1: "In case of having a proper reason for unable to stay in notified address."

There is no time limit, but what is unable to stay?

Is this because the place is falling apart OR

you've been kicked out for not paying rent OR

you went abroad for a new visa OR

your car got a flat Tyre and you can not make it back home?

You stay a night with a friend?

I have no idea. That is why the advice from Admins and Moderators on this page stay the same:

Contact your Immigration Office.
