Can you work remotely on a dtv visa even if you opted in by doing the muay Thai, not as a digital no mad?

Has anyone with Chinese passport successfully applied for DTV at Thai Embassy Kuala Lumpur recently? I'm currently in KL and planning to apply. Need to know if it's feasible or should I go to Hanoi or somewhere else instead. Which city you recommend and which muya Thai club in Thai you recommend

I got the DTV, will stay 2 years in Thailand, after this will go back for my country to stay like 1 year there, if I just want to travel for a while in Thailand, like 3 weeks, after staying 1 year outside, should I do immigration with the DTV Stamp or Tourism Stamp? My Passaport dont need visa for tourism.

Is there an age cut off for DTV VISA & do you have to work online/ go to school.

Hi everyone, soon I’ll be applying for the DTV for Muay Thai in Jakarta. My flight is round-trip to Phuket, and my Muay Thai school will be in Chiang Mai.

Before going to Chiang Mai, I’ll spend a few days in Phuket.

So, I’m adding the accommodation in Phuket — do you think it will be a problem since the Muay Thai school is in Chiang Mai?

Is it common for those who are on a DTV soft power for Muay Thai to be asked for proof of doing Muay thai when returning back into Thailand after border runs or trips away?

Can someone who has been through the process explain more about the soft visa activities?

Where would I find more information about them and the courses? Would it apply to children as well or can they be attached to the parent visa?

For those of you in Thailand on a DTV visa — is Rawai a good place to base yourself as this is where I’ve seen a decent Muay Thai gym under the soft power visa, or would you recommend another area of Phuket?

While I’m out there, I’d love to connect with others into fitness/gym life and digital nomads. Would you recommend renting a motorbike or a car, and what are the typical costs? I know motorbikes are easy to rent, but I only have an international driving license (not a motorbike one), so I’m not sure how that works.

Same with accommodation — did you sort it once you arrived or book in advance? Roughly what are the monthly costs for a decent place in Phuket?

Also, how did you go about meeting like-minded people? I’d like to avoid feeling isolated, as I’m moving from the UK and hoping to meet people into fitness, good vibes, and community.
