Has anyone done the 6 month Thai cooking classes to obtain your DTV? What school did you use? I’m in Bangkok and trying to decide which school I will have best chance with.

If my wife and I are both going to take Thai cooking classes should we both apply individually for DTV, or one apply for DTV under soft power, and other apply as spouse of DTV member? Is there a pro/con to either route?

I am a government officer who is interested in applying for DTV through signing up for a thai cooking class. What would be the process if applying from Karachi? Are they giving this visa to Pakistanis?

Would the location of your Muay Thai/ Thai cooking class be a factor in the soft power application? Would it matter if I signed up for Arun Thai or some well known program from Bangkok but intend to live in Chiang Mai? Or would it be safest to find course offerings in my vincinity. Got my DTV in Sydney Australia yesterday. Lodged on 6 November explained that my existing visa expires 19 November.

Stayed at pending document check until 20 November. Got a email 21 November Approved.

No problems with the application. No additional documents. Got the DTV on the Softpower platform Thai Cooking classes with House of taste 6 months.
