David Roberts The subject was the person entered Thailand without any questions about health insurance.

David Roberts While we are on the subject. I guess this would still be a good visa to get multiple Non-O/A and just get re-entry permit, after the one year.

As I don’t want to tie up 1.6 mil in the bank for my wife and I as the requirement for non O visa

Or go back to Canada and renew every year .

You can not get the Non Immigrant O-A visa in Thailand, only at the Thai Embassy in your country of residence.

For the Extension of Stay one person needs the minimum 800.000 Thb in a Thai bank 2 months prior application date til 3 months after and the rest of the year not less then 400.000 Thb Or the monthly 65.000 Thb income.

The other person can apply for the Extension of Stay based on being married to a foreigner with a temporary stay in Thailand, which has none financial requirements.
