Sorry guys, but if this is your Sunday morning fun, I can assure you it is not mine.

First you post a question can i enter without any hassle into Thailand. Than you directly say: You are not allowed to answer it is up to the Immigration Office, your are not allowed to answer if you do not have the same experience as me, you are not allowed to answer if you are an old grumpy person and the list went on.

I, as an old grumpy person answered with a sincere sorry, but it really is the decision of the Immigration Officer and I know I will hurt your feelings but even a long list of nice people, members on this page is not going to help to change the decision made by that officer.

And did I hurt somebody's feelings YES, the post got deleted but the PM is still there:

I am not entirely sure whether you misread my post due to a potential translation problem or whether you’re just that much of a bitter asshole. I was asking a genuine question prior to booking a holiday to LOS before leaving my LEGAL position here in Cambodia. It’s people like you that don’t help. FYI I’ve decided to avoid LOS and book a flight home via KL but thanks for your pathetic input. I don’t know why you’re so bitter and nasty but I will visit a temple on your behalf and pray not for you but for anyone who has to deal with you on a daily basis.

And I get blocked before I even could answer.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses a frustrating interaction regarding visa inquiries and experiences with the Thai Immigration Office. The original poster expressed dissatisfaction with the responses they received after asking about entering Thailand without issues, leading to a heated exchange with other community members. Comments reflect mixed opinions on the quality of advice shared and the demeanor of those seeking information.

Most of the questions on here have relatively simple answers ie "Yes, you can if you listen to my advice", "I don't know, you need to contact immigration" or "No, it's impossible"......Visas are stressful, so some people are unhappy because they don't like or "agree" with the answer/response......And if people don't get the answer they're looking for, then they're looking for a reason why, which in my mind is pointless half the time...... I've made a lot of errors and been a bit naive in the past and will probably continue to do so....The admins on here have been great with helping me and giving me direct advice. I've personally never felt judged when asking for help, but perhaps some feel they are being judged for their mistakes/stupidity/naivety.......I come on here because I just want a direct answer even if it's an "I don't know" or an answer I don't like. And if that happens then it's my responsibility to get on and deal with it.....(or pay an agency instead....!!!!)

A lot of things I see on the website is interesting, I have been here 13 years and the best answers are to ask immigration in your area or research yourself.Thai people are still 50 or so years behind the times.

Whatever the situation is for each and all of us, I just can't relate to the fact that people have to be so rude and aggressive to one another.

Like a previous poster mentioned....this page gives the best Thai Visa advice short of an immigration lawyer....and it's free! Keep up the good work.

Sometimes you’re a little curt and other times you’re a little cute. 😂 always good advice on this page

Adding requirements of an answer is disqualifying the question! Period!

In my personal opinion there are quite a few questions asked on here by people hiding much of their history with visas or that they are, for example, working on a tourist visa or exemption. Many of these get insulting when they are caught out on this in the comments on their post. Also when given advice to be here legally. I think they are looking for ways to short cut immigration and when not given what they want they blow up.

The advice given here is accurate and informative. Anyone who has been dealing with immigration for a while knows, with out a doubt, that immigration officers can and will decide if you can enter thailand and will happily override valid visas just obtained at a consulate.

It's a shame that person has used this group as an excuse not to come to LOS. Sad loss for Thailand

More commonly known as good riddance

On this page we get the best honest visa advice for free and being it honest sometimes it’s not what people want to hear ....... in this case I am sure going

to the temple will bring upon all the right answers...... even though the visit is on your behalf but not for you 🤔......

I would seem to me that to ask bc a question here one should be prepared to accept the answer as I'm sure the best answer is given as known

at that time.

You guys do a great job and disseminate invaluable information to all ignorant of Thai Immigration procedures and nuances when you can. If people get shirty with your answers, judgmental and rude then they do not deserve to have the service you provide free and without prejudice.

Flick em.

Theire obviously assumptions of entitlement to the answer they want other than the only answer you can give should disqualify them from the group.

The answer to anyone’s problems with this page 🤷🏼‍♂️

You gave a most appropriate reply
@Robert ******
. As for the OP she was looking for an impossible answer. Its wise she has chosen, with her recent immigration history, to avoid reentry into Thailand.

Good Luck to her and Good Bye!

Right decision. The Kingdom will be better without that kind of people =)
