OPYou need at the moment only a health care insurance if you like to be in Thailand using the Non Immigrant O-A visa or the Non Immigrant O-X visa.
BUT
to get a Certificate of Entry, the documents to be allowed to travel to Thailand, you need an insurance with cover of Covid 19.

How about in the case of a certificate of re-entry if you're on (extension of) a non-immigrant O visa?Robert *******

IF you're on an Extension of Stay and using the re-entry permit you still do not need an Health Insurance to enter the country.BUT as being retired you are not one of the groups who can enter the country,
