From illegal to legal, I did visit Khon Kean Immigration to change from using the Amnesty into an official hard stamp and valid stay.

Plan A, several documents from hospital, so application on basis of medical reasons, Denied

Plan B, Appeal as I explain I got all these documents as you ordered me last year. I did leave the county by bus to stay legal, but your boss decide to close the land borders,

Consultation in the back and there is no request with maximum amount of days on hospital statement and that is a requirement,

Okay, so far plan B.

But she continues, I can give you 60 days to visit your wife and I can start counting on 27 Sep, that is almost 90 days.

So plan C, I open the bag and start handing over all the needed copies and pictures, but that was to much. She is helping us, so we do not need all the requirements.

Come back before 25 Nov with request of hospital for maximum 90 days that it will be no problem.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The person describes their experience transitioning from an illegal status to a legal status at Khon Kaen Immigration. Initially, they sought to apply for a visa based on medical reasons but faced denial due to insufficient documentation. They contemplated appealing the decision, noting that they had followed immigration requirements from the previous year. Eventually, after negotiations, immigration offered a 60-day extension to visit a family member, contingent on providing further documents. The discussion highlights the complexities of visa applications in Thailand, particularly when dealing with medical circumstances.

A little background would be nice. How can we guess which issues you had before or what stamp you were on?

it's not actually plan C when you hand over the documents, just a continuation of whichever plan was before

@Ahkim *******
There is difference in 90 days based on medical reasons and 60 day based on family visit,

Plan is made just in case one does not work to be fully prepared for another way to apply.

no, it's a joke about labeling the plans accurately. the visa thing is fine
