"When they arrive at Suvarnabhumi airport, they say they’re transfer passengers en route to another country, but, in fact, they want to enter Thailand. They wander around the airport for a week or two."

"You’re first verified when you check in at the airport of your departure"
Is wrong I had a got a visa + into a plane with a passport that was marked in interpol as lost/stolen. Long story how this happened.
Couldn't find my passport for a trip to Poland, so my mom told me to call the police to report it (I was around 13-15 at that time), when I came back I found the passport under the copy machine, and forgot about it (I was super young). 4 years later I got a chinese visa in the same passport and traveled out of my country but they detained me in China. 😅
