FYI. Went today to Krabi Immigration for 90 day report, done in less than 2 minutes. My friend needed an Extension of Stay for her Non-O, due to admitted to stay till 25 jun and flight on 1 Jul. I explained the officer, he directly told I can only give 7 days, I replied I know but she need only 6 and does not want to make a border run before 25 jun. He smiled and said I do not like to go to that border. Was little busy, handed over the passport and 1 picture, waited 1 hour before everything processed, than it came out her passport was full. He took passport to head of office, came back and just put the stamp as high up as possible on the page for endorsement. He told her, there is enough place for exit stamp, but next time change passport on time. Charged her 1900 Thb. Good service.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent experience at Krabi Immigration shows that obtaining a 7-day Extension of Stay on a Non-O visa can be handled relatively quickly, requiring basic documentation and payment. An officer issued a short extension after verifying the passport details, highlighting the importance of timely passport renewals and the standard fee of 1900 THB for this service.

Yep on a Non-Immigrant type visa IF you can't supply the documentation to get a "real" extension all you get is the "application for extension denied" 7 days to get outta dodge stamp for 1900baht.

@Rob***
, That was a good thing (y) If I remember there was a post a while back where someone couldn't get an extension because they wouldn't stamp it onto the endorsement page of their passport ..

we knew but only needed 6 days, But putting the stamp on a non Visa page, the endorsement page because passport is totally full was a great gesture of this officer.
