Claire Drake is asking in an old topic, with lots of comments and replies, so placed it here: 

out of curiosity how did you get on with the scans?? My mum is  back in the UK and no matter what she does it keeps saying the size  isn’t correct. I’m in Thailand so I can’t help her. She is getting more  and more frustrated.. any advice you can give would be great. Thanks 🙏🏻

I attempted this for the METV: 6month bank statements and other financial evidence - all has to be one upload, and still under 500kb.... Its impossible. As Robert says above, just send a load of illegible shite.

Her scans are PDF’s do they need to be JPEGS?

Somehow the Thai Consulates and Embassies are bored of the templates of bank accounts with just a little more than the minimum. They took all the info out of the websites and ask your bank statement. You live inside Thailand, so you can give an estimate about how much your parents do need to survive or live in a little comfort.

it is a computer, those boxes do what is told by a programmer. I would say you like to stay max 60 days, fill in 58 or 59. The computer does not read your flight ticket, just scan it, Embassy know and understand that you can apply for 30 days Extension of Stay

make them as small as you can, if they can not read is not that important, they will then tell to post them with the passport

I just made them smaller than normal on the printer scanner my marriage certificate was the pain , but they accepted it . They can make bigger if they need too

Facebook upload, then download from facebook works.

Someone suggested up loading them to face book because it automatically resizes documents and files.
