Have a valid and genuine passport, have the visa printed out, have the TDAC done.

and if asked just talk with the IO about things that matter.

as seen earlier, your private life, partners, previous visits, the purpose of being in other countries are non relevant but may be nice to talk about with a coffee at another place.

You lost me.

This story is now about somebody else?

IF it is really 210 days and not the normal maximum 180 days, you have to get that stamp corrected.

Thanks for ignoring those who tell ignore without any advice or knowledge about visa rules. some are angry because they ask advice but not like to hear the rules.

No, I like to know what the problem is with MY passport, the other half IF Thai citizen can use the other gate special for Thai passport holders.

I would not tell an Immigration Officer if I have a partner or not and what the Nationality of that person is, NONE of their concern.

@John ******
than the whole story even makes less sense if you hold a valid multiple entry Destination Thailand visa.

There you go: my partner said that the io said.

I love to see the new Immigration laws you make up in this post.

You: Not allowed to enter if your partner is not there

I say: What about single people, are they not allowed to go on holiday?

YOU; IO said go somewhere other than Cambodia.

I say: the IO is NOT allowed to decide my next holiday destination.

It is NOT of the IO concern and the IO will never ask why you visited Thailand in the past 7 years.

But I guess you travel many times up and down without a VISA and that detail is also lost in translations.

If you do not know why you want to stay in Thailand, why would an agency know?

You apply for the DTV using an Embassy which is part of the Ministry of Foreign affairs.

You like to study at a school which is part of the Ministry of Education.

Yes, there are different types of soft power, but going to school can be done on any legal stay in Thailand.

As you might know, tourist during their holiday and in Thailand on a 60 day Visa Exempt Entry, love to visit Thai cooking schools for a day.

So get the correct visa for the purpose of your stay, I think for a 1 day cooking class, the DTV is a little over the top.

The Royal Thai Police Immigration Bureau has NOTHING to do with issue of the DTV and nothing to do with certifying schools.

IF you want to learn, enroll in a University and get 4 years of college.

If you want a short term course, find a school who provide what you want to learn and get the Non Immigrant ED visa or any other legal stay.

There is NO need for a 5 year Visa to learn 1 day cooking.

Get your act together.

The DTV is valid for 5 years and that is way to long for your plans.

Apply for the Multiple Entry Tourist Visa which with good use cover the time period of your Muay Thai training course.

Get back home, finish your job, set up a new on-line company and when it brings revenue, apply for the DTV workcation and you can move to Thailand to train in your spare time.
