Hi everyone! Grateful for your help 🫶 I am both a Aus & UK resident (live with family in both places so have residency proofs). Currently in Aus for 8 weeks before heading back to UK for 6 weeks which is where I will be going to thailand hopefully on the dvt from. Do you see any issues applying for the DVT now in Aus, but my statements will be a UK bank account + UK employment? My dependent will also be applying after (I'm guessing the location he will apply from will not make a difference then?)

I have a question regarding Thailand re-entry visa.

Is it possible for someone (family member) to submit the re-entry visa application on my behalf at Samut Prakan Immigration Office, or I must go by myself?

I’d prefer to avoid doing it at the airport due to long queues during this holiday season.

Extension and border run. Will I be let in?

So in 2024 I entered in july 2024 for a week.

Then in September i came back and stayed for around 80 days with an extension and then left for three weeks to Indonesia and Malaysia and finally came back for another 35 days and left in January 2025

I am planning to visit early Jan 2026. Will be previous pattern be a problem? It would have been almost 12 months since I left. No entries in 2025.

Is it true that from January 1st the entry rules for Thailand will change and that entry will only be allowed twice per year?

Just came back on a DTV visa. Third time back in Thailand this year. Stayed 1-2 weeks the previous 2 times. This time, I flew in from Japan for a 3 week stay. Airline refused to let me board unless I showed my air ticket leaving Thailand. No problems at Immigration at Bangkok Airport. The officer only wanted to see my DTV visa before waving me through. No questions asked.
