How long do you have to enter the Kingdom after your DTV is approved?
This is directly from the official site. I’ve seen many people misinformed others by stating they have five years to enter for the first time. You have 90 days.
Asking because I can’t find an absolute answer, is it mandatory to have a constant income in order to get a DTV? Am I obliged to be in Thailand continuously like with the student visa?
Hello everyone! I have a question regarding the DTV visa and TM30 registration. If my rental contract states that the lease starts on a certain date and ends on a later date (for example, a full year), should I indicate the end date of the lease in the TM30 form as well? Or is it better to leave the checkout date open-ended? I’m concerned about potential issues with immigration if the visa validity period doesn’t match the lease end date.
Has anyone experienced this before? What approach did you take, and did it cause any issues with immigration? I’d appreciate any insights or advice on how to handle this situation.
I'm trying to create a timeline for my retirement in Thailand. I will be applying for a Non O 90 day visa. I live in the USA now, about how long does it take to be approved on the average? Just an approximate, I know all applications can take different times. Next, after approval, how long is it valid before I actually go to Thailand. My reason is I am in the process of selling all my stuff and then I need to sell my condo. I don't want to be approved so far in advance that it expires before I can leave. Thanks.
Just for informational purposes, I know I was keen to know the latest approval times etc.

Printed A6 size and laminated like a nerd!
This is getting ahead of myself but it says valid until Nov 26 2030, does anyone know how this works? Does that mean you can use it to enter on Nov 26 2030 for 180 days or is the last entry permitted 180 days before Nov 26 2030?
Hello 👋 I am applying for the DTV visa this week, but my husband cannot apply together with me because he is on a business trip and when he returns, his passport will need to be renewed due to having less than six months validity. Is there a gender restriction for the primary DTV visa? And can the DTV Spouse Visa only be applied for by a wife?
We are concerned that the visa office might ask why my husband is applying for the spouse visa and potentially reject the application.
Hello everyone, questions about additional documents!
It turns out the embassy I’m applying from -Nepal- ask for flights in and out of Thailand too but there is no place in the application form to attach them.. so I was thinking to wait till they ask for additional documents- that’s what they do before rejecting right? And when they ask for additional documents, do they ask for them to be submitted online? Because I won’t be near the embassy after tomorrow…
Also my entry date to Thailand is 21st of December yet my visa in Nepal ends December 12 (im gonna do 15 day extension) would that be an issue?
I applied for an O visa, 60-90 days. On the application I put my arrival and leaving dates: 63 days. Arrival 5 Jan, leaving 8 March. The visa was approved. But it says Valid From 14 November. Valid Until 11 Feb. These dates do not match my trip dates. This is my first O visa application. What does this mean? Do I present this approved visa to immigration on arrival at BKK? Do I present this visa as proof of travel to my airline if asked? Thanks for any help with understanding this!
