MY Visa has been confirmed and sent. Unfortunately, the date is not correct - my visa runs from the day of approval... Nobody answers the phone at the embassy in Frankfurt. Has anyone had similar experiences and knows how to contact the colleagues?
I have a TR multi entry visa that is good through July 2025 (Given by U.S. embassy as a consolation prize instead of the DTV I paid for).
Is this a firm expiration date, or does it renew for six months each time I enter Thailand? I have read that some other types of visa can work this way. Thanks
Does the applicant need to enter Thailand within a specific time frame after being issued the visa? Or can they enter the county for the first time within the 5 year period
I started my DTV application on the thaievisa.go.th website. At one point they ask me when I want to go to Thailand, what flight number, how long I want to stay, and "I shouldn't ask for the DTV visa more than 3 months before actually going to Thailand".
Questions:
1. I want to get my visa first before booking my flight and accomodation, so can I just fill random stuff temporarily?
2. If I get my DTV, is there a 3 months limit like other visas, like if I don't enter Thailand during these 3 months my DTV is lost?
Validity of Visa: When you are issued a Non-O visa (single entry), it's usually valid for 90 days from the date of issue. This means you must enter Thailand within those 90 days.
Duration of Stay: When you enter Thailand using that visa, you will be granted a 90-day stay, regardless of how many days are left before the visa expires.
Example:
Visa issued: 1 July
Visa valid until: 28 September (90 days later)
You enter Thailand: 27 September
Your stamp at immigration: 90 days from 27 September → so, until 25 December
✅ Key point: The validity period is only about how long you have to use the visa to enter. Once you're in, the 90-day stay starts from your date of entry.
I'm trying to figure out for how many months my passport need to be valid when applying for a 90-days Non Immigrant O Visa based on being over 50?
Same question when I go to Immigration in Saraburi for my 1 year extension, if there are a difference between these two?
Arrival at Suvarnabhumi on August 20th, soon I'll start my Visa application using affidavit from Swedish Embassy in Bangkok about the financial requirements.
My passport expire July 5th 2027.
I'm sorry if this question being up here before but could not find anything about it.
I received a DTV visa earlier this year (in May), but due to personal circumstances I had to cancel my trip. I'm now planning to travel in October instead.
Does anyone know if there's a requirement to “activate” the visa within a certain time frame after it’s been issued? Or is it simply valid from the date of issue, meaning I can still travel later and I’ve just lost the months in between?
Thanks in advance for any advice or experience you can share!
I would apply for a METV-Visa for 5-month stay in Thailand at the embassy in Vienna.
They want a return ticket. Is this the "final" Returnticket to Austria at the end or do I need also the tickets to other countries in advance, as it is necessary to leave Thailand every two month withbthis ticket...
