Me and my wife both hold Thailand single entry visit visa, it's still valid since we haven't visited yet.
A week ago I applied for DTV from Jakarta. I read some information that you cannot hold 2 visas, can someone guide me if I need to cancel my visit visa right now? If so, what's the process? I applied while I was in Malaysia.
I’m a British passport holder. I applied for a single entry tourist visa at thaievisa.go.th in early October. Having done this in 2022 I expected it to take a matter of days. I submitted the last of the requested documents towards the end of Oct but still today my application was pending in the system. All research suggested waiting for 30 days before getting worried, but I emailed visa.lon@mfa.go.th this morning and got the visa approved this afternoon.
Just wanted to share the benefit of emailing the embassy should you have any concerns.
Are 3 month tourist visas one use only? For example, could I have been here for 2 weeks, fly to Europe for a month and enter Thailand again for the remainder of my visa?
I am still deciding over a Single entry Visa or a second Visa exempt after remaining 59 days this year. But my question is, when asking for the Visa or filling TDAC can i put my real exit date ? I plan to stay around 88 days, so i will ask for an extension near the end of the 60 days. Flying in Emirates, they will allow me to change my return date for a (big) fee, so i could buy a ticket with a return in the 60 day interval and then change. But is it necessary to havbe this kind of expense ? Immigration will understand i am able to extend those 60 days . Thanks
Validity of Visa: When you are issued a Non-O visa (single entry), it's usually valid for 90 days from the date of issue. This means you must enter Thailand within those 90 days.
Duration of Stay: When you enter Thailand using that visa, you will be granted a 90-day stay, regardless of how many days are left before the visa expires.
Example:
Visa issued: 1 July
Visa valid until: 28 September (90 days later)
You enter Thailand: 27 September
Your stamp at immigration: 90 days from 27 September → so, until 25 December
✅ Key point: The validity period is only about how long you have to use the visa to enter. Once you're in, the 90-day stay starts from your date of entry.
Ho all. On a 90 day, Non-O, single entry obtained in the UK.
If i get a re-entry permit and leave and re-enter before the 90 days is up, will I get an additional 90 days or only up until when the original 90 days was due to end? In/out via plane. Thanks in advance for any info.
If my 90 day single entry Thai e visa says valid from 19 April until 17 July it means I can enter anytime during that period and the 90 days will start from the moment I enter Thailand? So theoretically I can't purchase a reentry stamp and go out and come back on 17 July for another 90 days?
