Hi everyone, I’m a US citizen married to a Thai national and planning to apply for a Non-Immigrant O visa (based on marriage) outside Thailand. I prefer a multi-entry visa for flexibility, as I may need to leave briefly for business, but I’m open to a single-entry visa if multi-entry is too difficult to obtain. I’d like to use US bank statements and pay stubs for financial proof, as I don’t want to transfer funds to a Thai bank account at least for the intial 90 day. I’m opem to transfer at the 1 year extension. Can anyone recommend the best consulates/embassies (e.g., Penang, Vientiane, Ho Chi Minh City, etc.) that accept US financial documents for single- or multi-entry Non-O visas? Has anyone had success with these documents, and what was required? Any recent experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I am also curious if anyone has had success applying for multiple Non-Immigrant O visas instead of doing the 1 year extension. Thank you!

***For further context. I was married here in Thailand and I am here at the moment on a tourist visa. We’ve applied for a CR-1 and now it is just a waiting game and buying time until we get approval.

Looking for some advice on what order to do things next, in now my O visa has been issued this morning.

I'm off to Hat Yai in four weeks time, looking to live there.

I have a condo agent ready to meet with to take out a years rental.

When I get there, what order should I do things in in relation to:

Extending to one year.

Opening a bank account.

Dropping the 800K in the account

Renting the condo.

I have one month booked in a rental when I get there which allows me to get on and sort things out.

Your advice, if you have done this, in what order I should do things, would be very much appreciated,

Hi, I would like to know if Australian passport still getting 30(45) days stay visa on arrival stamp at the airport immigration??

We came to Bangkok this time last year and that was stamped and found out Australian can stay for 45 days.

My friend travelled here from Canada on a 30 day visa exempt stamp and we just realized he's overstayed his visa. The last day of his stamp was April 4, but his flight home is on the 11th. Should we go to immigration and try to get an extension, or just wait as there's only 3 days until he flies home?

I've just logged on to apply for a new e Visa Non O based on being a parent of a Thai child and I can only apply for a single entry.

Is this right? Or is it a glitch in the system?

I was using the UK e-visa.

I'm going to Thailand the first week in November. I'd like to stay 90 days. What visa do I need? Would I get the visa in Thailand or USA?

Hi, I have a one year extension of my non O visa based on marriage.
