Visited three banks today in Chiang Mai—Bangkok Bank, KBank, and SCB. All of them politely declined to open an account with a DTV visa.

Is it necessary to pay around 7000 baht to open a bank account in all banks in Thailand or does only Bangkok bank charge this fee?

* First thing first, I don't wanna live in Bangkok. It's so chaotic for me

* I wanna live by the sea

* I don't wanna live in a super small place, also not really huge city as well
