There are hundreds of places on the booking platforms but I am looking for a personal recommendation.

Obviously I want to be in or close to the Old Quarter and AC is a must.

I'm budgeting for around 20usd a night but I am getting too many hostels and dorms coming up.

Any hidden gems out there someone can suggest ?

Are there any good Credit Unions to join in Thailand? Would like to step away from banks where possible.

Does anyone here have a partner or know someone with a credit union. I.e Thai national and any they recommend?

If you had to pick up islands or places to visit in the peak time of December which will still be less crowded where would you pick? We have already been to Koh Kood, Koh chang, Koh Mai and Koh Wai and were paradise in December!

I submitted my application in person for a residence certificate to buy a car at Bangkok Immigration Division 1 last Friday. They gave me a receipt with a reference number and told me to pick it up on April 10.

Do you think it’s possible to try to get it earlier than the scheduled date? Any advice would be appreciated.

Non O marriage visa renewal

Hi Group.

I have to renew my non O marriage visa at the end of June, this will be year 2 so the first time I’ve renewed it. I’m hoping it’s easier than the first time. There’s quite a lot of rules in Nonthaburi where I’m based. I think I remember the money in the account only needs to be there for at least 60 days before the date, not 90 days like the initial application. Any help much appreciated.
