Tm47 is to confirm that you are on an address residing in Thailand, so it should be no problem to register that you are actually residing in Thailand on an address. Not sure what Covid has to do with staying at an address.

NO it is not, the TM30 is the form used to register a foreigner residing on an address, which has to be done in 24 hours after arrival.

But if you mean that you need to show that you reside on an address than the answer is yes.

IT is never a madhouse in Krabi as it is not as busy with foreigners as Bangkok.

You need:

Application form (you get at the office)

Copy ID page passport.

Copy visa page page passport (if you used a visa and/or copy print out visa)

Copy address registration

1 passport picture

Fee 1.900 Thb.

Blue inked pen to fill in the form and sign the copies.

As long as your visa is still valid you will get 1 year of stay, time enough to arrange all the needs to meet the requirements next year

a Tourist visa gives you 60 days of admitted to stay. You can keep this period active when travel abroad by buying a Re-Entry Permit.
