Hi all, so here's my situation...on September 14, which is a Sunday, my visa runs out. If I could get it extended on that day, all would be fine for my exit from Thailand on October 12. However, because it is a Sunday, I either have to get it extended on the Friday, and then be a day or 2 late when leaving the country or be 1 day late for the extension. My thoughts are it would be best to be a day late asking for an extension but would like to know what would happen either way as I don't want it marked on my passport if avoidable.
Hello! My Daughter has an ED Visa and I have a Non-O (dependent) Visa. Our visas expire next year. Booked a flight for Dec 13. How soon can I go to immigration to submit school letter and to cancel our visas? School will refund deposit to my bank account. Will I have a hard time getting the cheque cleared and not be able to withdraw my balances on my account? Thanks 🙏
I renew my Non-O visa every year in July. So my next renewal is July 2026. I would prefer to have renewal in December - January each year, is it possible to change?
Currently, I receive my salary in Korea, and I also have a work permit in Thailand, where I am working. My Non-B visa ends on August 20th, and my work permit expires on August 1st.
I'm planning to go to Vietnam on August 21st to apply for a DTV. Will there be any issues with this?
Doing dtv visa in KL, Malaysia. My tourist visa is going to expire soon and the process is taking a long time. I am a bit worried about my stay here. Any advice?
ALL immigration offices in thailand will be closed the following days
Thursday 10th July
Friday 11th July
Monday 28th July
If your stamp expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekends or holidays) and you go the very next day they're open you can get your extension like normal and will not be charged for overstay. But expect long lines.
