Just wait and apply for the Non Immigrant O visa before your next visit to Thailand.

Before the extra 30 days ends you can apply for the 60 days Extension of Stay based on unable to travel.

You can apply once for a 30 day Extension of Stay based on tourism.

If you planned a holiday for 80-85 days you should have applied for a Single Entry Tourist visa before you left to Thailand.

You can apply during the last 30 days of your stay, but be aware if your application is denied, the stamp will be not approved and 7 days from application day to leave the country.

Always have a plan B ready.

You can apply for a conversion from your tourist visa into a Non Immigrant O visa but it takes at least 15 days under consideration. If the visa is approved you have to wait 60 days to apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay, it can not be done all at the same day.

Official the Immigration Officer can ask every visitor to Thailand to show:

1. 20.000 Thb or equivalent currency in cash

2. Proof of onward travel

3. Proof of accomodation.

Some people get asked, most of them not.

There is no quarantee you get asked or not and above all: You can not show a facebook comment like: I did not get ask to get a free passage.

You have to use the visa and the Thailand pass within 90 days from the day it is given

A single Entry Visa and the Thailand pass are both valid for 90 days as day 1 is the day it is issued.
