I’m thrilled to share that my DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) was approved today by the Hanoi embassy! It’s such a relief, and I’m still in awe that such a visa exists—it feels absolutely amazing. I applied as a remote worker, and this opens up so many exciting possibilities for me.

A huge thank you to everyone in this group for the invaluable information and support. It’s been incredibly helpful throughout this process.

Next on my list is finding a great place to live and opening a Thai bank account. A new chapter is beginning, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead. I wish the same success for all of you pursuing this visa!

Hi everyone.

My wife and myself both have the new DTV visa's.

We have generally spent our winters in Phuket, bouncing in and out. So we've never had a visa in the past.

My question is,,

How do you show you have this visa on arrival?

Will immigration know, or is there some system what flags our passports as visa holders?

Or,,,

Do we need a paper/email copy of the visa?

With the multiple entry visa is there a requirement to show documentation for round trip air ticket?

What is current list of required documents to extend my non-O based on marriage? Seems I forget something every year. I made a list last year and can’t find it 🤣

I’m thinking of getting married in the next few years and want to get my ducks in a row for a visa based on marriage.

I have income from rental property in the US greater than 40,000 baht per month. Will this be satisfactory for the income requirement? What documents will I need to show? I have a Schedule E showing income from the property each year. Do I need to show 12 months of direct deposits into a Thai bank account?
