Hello, I am considering a DTV visa and I have a company. Should the account with the 500,000 baths be in your own name or in the name of the company? Also, how many customer contracts do I need to provide? Thank you in advance

Hi, l got my multiple entry retirement visa sorted last week but unsure on 2 things with it.

1. l intend to go back to the UK before my first 90 days is up and it says l must contact immigration for a re entry visa before leaving Thailand and

2. notification of residence must be made every 90 days.

My questions are:

1. How long before l leave for the UK do l need to apply for a re entry visa and what does it cost or involve?

2. If l leave Thailand before the 90 day notification of residence do l still have to give notification of residence?

TIA

It is possible for family member ( wife & son ) to apply for DTV together with my same application ?

Or they should wait till I obtain mine and them apply themselves?

Hello, I would like to apply for the DTV online, from Italy for the category workcation (remote worker).

I work as a professor at university and I can work remotely, apart from the months I have teaching duties in Italy.

I have a few questions related to the employment contract. Beside the fact the contract has to be in English, should it be authenticated by the Thai embassy? Should it explicitly mention that I can work remotely?

Thank you very much in advance to anyone that will help me.

If I'm approved and back to Thailand, how many days do I have to activate the DTV if my current visa is still good? And to activate it will I have to go back to the issuing country and back to Thailand again to activate?

We are leaving for Thailand ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ in early January 2025 and returning to the USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ on the end of April.

Our plan is to enter under the visa exempt/get 60 day stamp, travel to Laos ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฆ in early March by air and return several days later and hopefully receive another 60 day stamp and return home at the end of April.

Has anyone left Thailand ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ and returned a second time under the visa exempt and received a 60 day stamp both times?

Or should we get a multi entry tourist visa thatโ€™s good for 6 months and get stamped in each time for 60 days????

Any and all comments will be appreciated.

Has there been a single person that has applied for DTV within Thailand? My son has an ED visa already and an immigration officer told me since he has a visa already he can apply within Thailand. However everywhere I oook it says it must be done outside the country. Any thought?

I've been using wise to transfer to my Bangkok bank account for a while re the 65k+ pm method for retirement visa selecting 'Funds for long term stay' and it always shows as international transfer, all good ๐Ÿ‘

However just been on wise and the funds for long term stay option is no longer there. Anybody had any problems with this? What reason for transfer are people using. Does it make any difference what reason you use?
