ok, first sorry for delay, my true internet ran out right after the question. I went to immigration today and trying to extend my 60 day tourist visa another month and they told me to wait three days before it expires.

So I would have to wait for the 30 day exempt to almost expire and get the month extension and then apply for the non-o.

Sounds doable.
