Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had experience with the soft DTV from London / UK??

how many monthly statements did you need to provide for the 500k thb, and does the soft dtv also have the same income requirements as the full remote worker dtv?

I was considering an Ed visa for muay thai but this seems a much better option with multi-entry..

I'm considering to apply in Taipei but based on some posts in this group, they are requesting showing income deposits / payslips from your employer. I even saw the same requirements on the updated Jakarta embassy website.

I just started my remote role in November and was unemployed for a while before that, so I won't have any income deposits on my bank statements when I apply there next week.

Any advice? Do you think I'll be okay given my start date, or anything else I should mention / provide? Thanks all!

Just a heads up for people that want to apply for Soft Power Muay Thai option in Taipei. A receipt is not enough for confirmation. You need a letter from the gym showing when you will attend, the gym's muay Thai license, and company registration. Make sure you gym is certified by the Sports Authority of Thailand. The requirements on the site are not up to date. They will ask for 3 months of banking statements along with your income even if it's soft power. I hope this saves someone else time.

Tricky question:

I work my main job onsite at the moment.

I have a remote side hustle business that does not (yet) generate income.

I am well of so I can survive in Thailand for years.

The question is, when I apply for remote work DTV, can I show my main onsite jobs payslips instead of my remote business as it does not generate income?

Or do I actually have to make some money from my remote sidehustle job to get the visa? Meaning can I show payslips from another job than the one I will use to apply for the visa with

(I will quit the main job when I leave for Thailand)

Thanks!

VISA FROM THE NETHERLANDS:

We are german living in the Netherlands travelling for 71 days. Both retired. My income is enough to apply for the non-immigrant O visa. My husband doesn't fulfil the requirements.

So is my income enough for us both or which options do we have? We have already booked our return flight for day 71.

Hi everyone!

I’m looking to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa as a remote worker, but I just started my new job this month. My first payslip and contract are from early October, and I’m planning a trip to Taiwan or Jakarta on the 28th of this month.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Could starting the job recently cause any issues with the visa application? I hope it’s okay to ask here—I couldn’t find a similar post, so I wanted to reach out.

Thanks so much in advance!
