Non O visa marriage applicant 😢 Skip the 40k income documents. Just came back from Chaengwattana Immigration and they’ve confirmed they are only accepting the 400,000 THB deposit for Non-O Marriage extensions/renewals now.
Doesn't matter what the latest article says—the officers at the desk have the final word.
*take a look at the photo and the officer specifically highlighted that to me before asking me to leave and come back with 400k baht deposit *
What I have :
- Thailand company employment letter
- tax pnd 91 form
- tax Tawi 50 form
- bank statement proof I have a Thai company crediting salary into Thai bank every month > 40k baht income
I applied initially from Indonesia (Jakarta) but it was declined. I assume because they’re strict on the “seasoning” of the savings, when I had only recently transferred them into the one account.
I am now looking to re-apply at HCMC.
Does anyone else use Xendit/Stripe/payment portals? Just figuring out the smoothest way to document the payments I receive from clients, as I think attaching bank statements last time was too lengthy.
Also, is there a minimum income required for DTV? I didn't read that part if so.
Hello all, I'm considering applying for a DTV visa. I'm an American. My question though is I'd prefer to apply as "workation" rather than soft power as I do have a recently monetized youtube channel. I can prove analytics, an Adsense account, and active Youtube channel and community. The thing is I'm not sure I will have produced much income by the time I apply, but I have a decent pension income I primarily live off of. Has anyone else qualified under these conditions? Do they need to see some level of income from your online business? Would the decent pension income help? Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.
Anyone had the chance to apply for DTV in Hanoi while he/she has own comapny that pays him, showing the Company bank statement and balance (related to Applicant name in same bank) and got approved?
will appreciate some accurate answers of cases approved with same situation. thank you!
I’m a 30-year-old remote worker (Sri Lankan) based in Colombo, planning to apply for the DTV from here. I have a few concerns and would really appreciate any insights from those who’ve gone through the process.
I work remotely for a US-based company and also take on freelance projects. My fixed monthly income is USD 1,000, and most months I earn an additional USD 300 or more from freelance work. I currently have LKR 5 million (approximately THB 500,000) in my bank account, and I’m planning to submit my DTV application once it hits the three-month mark.
I have two main questions:
1. Could my income level be a potential reason for rejection?
2. I’ve come across several posts mentioning DTV rejections from applicants who applied through the embassy in Colombo. Is there any truth to this?
Hi all asking on behalf of my partner who isn't in the group.
She is from Taiwan and wants to apply in Taipei. She has the savings, but works online teaching English and other freelance bits and pieces (a few hours a week for two companies), but the majority of her income is from the English teaching. She makes about 40-60k THB per month depending on the month.
The English teaching is through one of those freelance platforms where you post your profile and rate and students can find you. I think they're classed as freelancers rather than employees.
I know they ask for an interview in Taipei and apparantly also a motivation letter, and I assume one question will be why do you want to go to Thailand to work? Any tips on how to answer this? Or any other general tips for applying in Taipei?
We're a little worried as her income isn't as high as lots of the people who apply but I know they don't have a specific rule for income and it's still above the Thai average so should be OK?
Gotta question, what do you write when it asks you about employment and income when applying for a non O, I am currently in Thailand but will return to Canada next week, I will apply from Canada my Non O will be on retirement I just left my job and is retiring in Thailand I don’t have a pension yet but I will have the 800,000baht required
Hello, has anyone applied for DTV in Taipei via learning Thai soft power track? I was told that I need workcation related documents to apply for soft power in Taipei? I am semi-retired and don't have month to month income, but I have adequate amount well above >500,000 bhat to sustain myself living in Thailand for at least 5 years. Anyone with similar situation or have helpful information on this care to chime in? Thank you! 🙏
