If you report late the fine is 2.000 Thb. No overstay stamp as it has nothing to do with overstay of your visa or extension.

You can not change the reason you applied for and got issued and even used your Non Immigrant Visa.

IF you visited during the first 90 days after entry the Immigration Office you might be able to cancel the big stamp with the text Extension of Stay permitted up to xx/xx/xx and apply for a new stamp based on being employed.

This needs cooperation of Immigration and Employer, best is to talk together.

Yes as you signed the documents to do this when you applied for the Extension. document is called the STM2 Form.

Make life easy, apply for the Single entry Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years of age and the Non Immigrant O visa based on being a dependent in September and use them to get 90 days on entry until half Jan 2023.

You have then 30 days time to deposit the money and apply both for the Extensions of Stay.

No as the Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years of age and willing to sit out the rest of your life in Thailand also known by shortcut retirement visa is employment prohibited and can not be used to convert into a Non Immigrant B visa for employment inside the country.
