I am assuming not but I will ask anyway….
Can you leave the country during the 30-day under consideration period after applying for 1-year extension based on Thai spouse? Just trying to plan ahead a bit.
My current 1 year ends on September 26.
I am hoping to travel somewhere the first week of October, which would be during that 30-day under consideration period.
Or
Would I be able to apply for my 1-year extension on August 26 instead (30 days prior, Chiang rai immigration) and have the 30-day under consideration be complete in time for me to travel early October.
Thank you for help.
TLDR : Answer Summary

They were concerned about the timings, as their current visa expires on September 26 and they wish to travel in early October. A comment clarified that one can travel during this 30-day period, but they would need to acquire a new Re-Entry Permit and inform the local Immigration Office about their travel plans.
