Hi,

I was granted the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) under my old passport (Passport 1).

I now have a new passport (Passport 2), because Passport 1 has less than 6 months left.

When I arrive in Thailand, I will bring:

– Passport 2 (new and valid)

– Passport 1 (used for the DTV application)

– The DTV approval email linked to Passport 1

Will the immigration officer understand this and stamp the DTV into Passport 2 without any problem?

Or should I do something in advance to avoid any issue?

when apply non immigrant O visa, I only plan to buy the inbound air flight. However is the outbound (return flight) required?

Just got to Thailand with my new DTV visa. I applied in the Philippines. It only took five days to get. It went through immigration and everything was smooth. The only question was asked proof of accommodation. 

TDAC Submission

Leaving for Thailand in June from Toronto.

2hr stopover in Seoul for transfer flight to Bangkok.

On TDAC admission is Canada or South Korea my Boarding country?

If South Korea, is it also a country of stay in the Health Declaration section.

My 13 yr old son was recently approved through the NYC embassy. One thing I did which they told me I should not have was submitted the application three months before his flight into Thailand. They said about a month before the flight is enough. They didn't reject it but held on to it till there were about 5 weeks left to his departure and approved it.

One other thing that happened early on was that I gave them a screenshot of my US bank account balance for proof of liquid assets but my name wasn't on it, I completely overlooked that. They responded and asked for a bank statement but Chase only gives the previous month's statement and that made me think that even though there was more than enough in there last month, they'd reject it simply because it was last month's eventhough my name would be on it. Luckily I had a Bangkok Bank account with more than the required funds and BB gives a current statement with your name and so I sent them that and it worked. Otherwise it was smooth and he'll be here in a few weeks now. Flying alone from NYC to BKK via Tokyo. If anyone has any experience with summer camps in BKK, pls let me know. Planning that right now. DTV application "Port of embarkation" How are you interpreting this question?

My mother has a US passport and will fly into BKK after about a week she will come to Chiang Mai.

My question regarding the new online arrival card is about the trip and accommodation section.

Should she use the address for the hotel in Bangkok where she will enter Thailand and begin her trip?

Or should she use our home address in Chiang Mai where she will stay for the majority of her time in Thailand?

Tried different forums and YouTube vids. but am still not sure and confused with contradictory answers how I fill out the TDAC. If I am travelling from Australia to Bangkok and change over in Singapore ( 2hr change over time) from Australia to Singapore flight number XX. then when I change over and the flight number is XXX from Singapore, so different flight numbers, do I put country where you boarded Singapore or Australia?

I created my TDAC as I'm flying back to BKK tomorrow and I forgot to enter my DTV visa number. There's a link to update the TDAC if there is an error but the link isn't working; I'm getting a server not found error. What should I do - keep trying? Create another one? Just explain what happened to the immigration officer in BKK?

Got my DTV Workation Visa approved in Hanoi the other day (4 working days) flew back into Bangkok via Don Mueang Airport today and had no issues at immigration. Despite having an 11-year visa history with various types. Tourist visas, visa exemptions, education visas etc.

I was nearly refused entry 3 months ago via land border using a visa exemption and told to get a proper visa. Just wanted to share that applying for the DTV in Hanoi wasn’t a problem, even with a long visa history, and re-entering Thailand went smoothly with absolutely no questions asked.
