“Have you ever applied for Thai visa” - hey guys I’m on the travel page of the application and ran into this question.
I was last in Thailand 18 years ago, I think, and I don’t remember the visa situation fully.
I think I had 90 days at the time? Could be wrong, maybe 60 - but I stayed 6 weeks.
I booked the whole trip in a Trailfinders office in Dublin - or something similar to Trailfinders - where you would also book “Interrailing” tickets etc.
Point is, I can’t remember if they applied for a visa for me, or if there was visa free travel back then maybe?
I’m a Myanmar passport holder. I entered Thailand for the first time with a DTV at BKK airport last night from HCMC. The process was quick. No questions were asked and I didn’t have to show any documents. The officer simply took my passport, stamped it and handed it back.
But I’ve seen some posts in group where people were worried about entering Thailand for the first time with a DTV at BKK Airport. Based on my experience, it was completely smooth and hassle-free. Thanks.
I applied in Jakarta, it took 3 working days only!
Submitted all the documents on 17th July (Morning) and got the approval on 21st July (Morning).
I did it with the soft power Muay Thai class.
For the occupation section, my muay thai school said to fill it unemployed. But i submitted already with student and income under 20,000 baht / year. And still got approved! If you need any questions, i would love to help and answer it!
Just entered on a 60 day visa-on-arrival at DMK after spending 4 days in Taiwan. Previously had been in Thailand for a year on a education visa. Was lightly questioned for a minute about school and if I would study more or not, but seems no problem entering again after leaving for a few days. Never usually post here, but I saw a lot of people complain and share rejection stories about visa-on-arrival, specifically at DMK. Possibly its because they tried to do multiple visa-on-arrival back-to-back.
Hello everyone. I was denied entry into Thailand based on a 60-day exemption. Will I have a problem entering with a DTV visa? Has anyone had a similar problem? How can I re-enter Thailand? I don't have an entry ban.
I have a question about the TDAC. I'm flying out to Bangkok next Sunday the 28th. Will the weekend delay the processing of my TDAC if I apply on Friday the 26th?
