i need advice from this community :

i am on retirement visa (first year, valid until may 2025) and i need to go back to my country - Italy - about half october 2024 (20 days circa from now). My plan is to come back to Thailand in april 2025 (to avoid the expiring of my retirement visa and just renew it ).

But i've heard that i need a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand...so my question is : where to get it (i got my visa at Pattaya Immigration Office, but now i am living in Bangkok) and which documents i need ? I am confused because someone says you can get this at Suvarnabhumi Airport, someone says i have to go to Immigration Office (in my case would be Chaeng Wattana?)...

I don't want my visa to be canceled, i am asking you guys because i want to do the right thing in order to mantain it.

Looking for clarification on issue we have

Just applied for DTV e-visa in UK, paid fee and just waiting for approval which should literally be anytime now

However, we’ve just had an issue that is going to delay our arrival in Thailand by 3-4 months

Does anyone know if there is a set period that you have to enter Thailand in once DTV visa has been issued

Done internet research and one person said that there is no time limit on entering, but obviously the visa will only be valid for 5 years from date it was issued

Can’t find anything else regarding this

I applied my visa in Hanoi,Vietnam on 11 September, Wednesday. I didn’t get any email about require documents OR visa rejected OR visa approval. So, should I go there and ask what’s wrong? Because today is 17th already and I really want to go other places so badly . I just want to know the update 😩

How is the DTV process going to change once it switches to e-visa? It sounds like it would be easier but with a closer look it seems like you have to apply from your home country. Anyone have any information about the e-visa? For example, I called Jakarta embassy and they said they will not accept in person appointments starting in October.

I have applied for my DTV and now they are asking for a flight to Thailand (I will be doing some travels on my way back). It seems that this is the standard document checks they ask for after the initial docs that are at the first stage.

How did people in my situation get around this step? What if we haven't booked a direct way into Thailand?

I have been trying to call the embassy with no response.

I just received approval of my Non-B business visit evisa, and I’m flying to Thailand tomorrow. However, I have a short trip planned for next week. To avoid buying a reentry permit, could I enter Thailand on a visa exemption and activate the Non-B evisa later?

Update: The officer stamped me the Non-B. When I realized this while waiting for my suitcase, I went back and asked if she can change it. She crossed the information and replaced them with a visa exemption. I received the Non-B on my next visit. Saved the re-entry permit fees.

Going to embassy tomorrow to apply for a 60day tourist visa. My bank statement is from two weeks ago. Still good? Or need to visit the bank again & get a new one?

Does the DTV need to be stamped within 90 days of receiving it? I would like to secure the DTV now; however, I do not plan to travel to Thailand for another ~6 months. Can anyone clarify if the DTV needs to be stamped in Thailand within 90 days of receiving it? Thank you!

Hi guys, plan to apply for the dtv in vietnam. Can anyone who has applied in Vietnam or other embassies advise on how long after your application is made you should have you flight to Thailand booked? I’m not sure if there is any specific requirements on this.
