Hi all ☺️. i am planning my trip to Vietnam to apply for the DTV visa. Should i only consider Hanoi or there are other cities where i can go to do the same?

# Anyone who applied in Vietnam? did they ask you for tax return documents? anyone got refused due to it? (my income is not taxable in my country)

Is it actually a requirement of the visa to stay in country whilst you are applying (Vietnam) ?

Haven’t seen any reports of in person interviews for HCMC

Would rather travel onto Japan than stay here

Is there anyone who applied DTV on Monday in HCMC got approved in these days? I applied on 2nd December-Monday evening around 4:00 pm and still stuck in “Pending Approval” stage. I just want to make sure there may be any problem or not. Thank you all. 🙏

Need some advice, in which part do I upload all the stamps of my passport (which Vietnam require)

Is current location a hotel booking or passport stamp or both ?

—-for the address part - is that correct - the first one is permanent address in Thailand and second is current address in Vietnam?

Update: just a small glitch ..payment went through and just waiting for the evisa to HCM..not a waste of time really..reading responses from kind people...i hope we don't take for granted the time that other spend to respond to our posts..it is never a waste of time!

I am applying at Hanoi, and I want to make sure I have everything correct since I've triple checked everything else. Should I put my home address AND Hotel in Vietnam here or what do people do for this? Last question before I apply - I swear 😅 I'm confused by this part, and even more confused by some of the replies when searching.

If you’re planning to travel to Vietnam for DTV, don’t forget to check if you need a visa for Vietnam (especially if you’re from the USA, Australia, the UK, Switzerland, etc.).
