Hello, I’m currently volunteering and have recently been offered a teaching position. My school is very supportive, but I’m curious about visa matters. Has anyone here successfully switched from a Non-O visa to a Non-B visa within Thailand? I’m under the impression that in-country visa conversions might be mostly available for tourists on visa exemptions or tourist visas. I’m eager to know if it’s possible to complete the process without leaving the country. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, is it true that dtv visa cannot be cancelled. I asked at the immigration and the immigration officers said it cannot be cancelled. Does anyone know or experienced about the dtv visa cancellation?
What is the process to convert DTV to open my own business/visa work permit etc?
Can you stay within Thailand for the entire process or does this visa need to be cancelled by exiting first and then re-entering on a tourist visa and converting to business from there?
Any info on cancelling this visa would be appreciated as with my timeline it may make more sense to just issue a tourist visa and not go DTV route after all. I was thinking to take DTV to buy more time but now I’m not sure… thank you!
I currently hold an ED plus Visa, and my husband and baby currently have Non-O Visas (as dependents on my visa). According to the new rules, my ED plus Visa can be converted to another visa within Thailand.
My question is:
If I get a Non-B Visa, can my husband and baby do an in-country conversion from one Non-O to another Non-O (linked to my Non-B), or will they have to leave Thailand?
If conversion is not possible within country can they come on tourist visa and then convert to new non-o
Quick question. I was last stamped into Thailand on Visa Exempt on December 4th. I have just had that stamp converted in NON-B which wxpires on May 25th. I'm wondering if I am required to do a 90 day report now? Thanks
May be a shot in the dark but does anyone have the info needed from Samut Prakan Immigration office to convert an exemption stamp to a non-o spousal 90 day visa? I understand all Immigration offices are different. So I would like the one specific to Samut Prakan.
