I am currently on an ED-Plus visa valid until June 2025, and I have a dependent on non-O visa also valid until June. If I switch from an ED-Plus to a non-B visa, what will happen to my dependents’ visa status? Will they need to cancel their non-O visas and apply for new ones, or can they change their visa status within Thailand without leaving the country?

As it is the modern times of 2024, why is the visa application process still 100 years in the past? I do not want to fix my itinerary before I travel, I am a free spirit who likes to learn by doing and my plans may change, so why would I even go to a country that expects me to book everything rigidly in advance? Malaysia seems a lot more civilised and business minded to me.

Quick question about the Thai bank deposit requirement for Non O guardian Visa's 1yr extension: Does the transfer into my Thai bank account have to show that it's from overseas (ie being an international transfer and not a domestic transfer) and from my own bank account from overseas (ie must be from myself, not a relative or friend)?

I initially thought any transfer should be fine as long as I have the required amount deposited in my Thai bank account for the required length of time. Now I'm second guessing myself after reading on a FB group that some people had to show it's an international transfer from their own home account under their name.

A lot of people are worried about if you need to apply in your home country if it’s E-Visa. Don’t worry you can apply anywhere. I have been applying for tourist visa to Thailand since 2023 in China. But i am from Africa but i live in China. You just need proof of residency. Your visa doesn’t matter whether it’s long term visa or tourist. Last time i applied for my friend who can to China on tourist visa and he got accepted. His visa was only left with 8 days at that time. Some hotels can actually help you register to the police if you want

More documents requested got me confused. Please help!

About my situation: i applied for the DTV visa a couple days ago and yesterday got a response requesting more documents.

I have a german citizenship, but i dont have a permanent residency anywhere, because i founded a US LLC in Florida, left germany and just travel the world.

Right now im located in Austria and thats also what i wrote in the visa application, but somehow now they want austrian documents from me which i can‘t get because those are only accessable for austrian citizens or people that have a permanent residency here.

Chatgpt said there is no permanent residency needed for the DTV visa.

Also they want all my company documents of „Austria“ which doesn‘t make sense because neither am i austrian nor is my company austrian.

I hope you guys can help me because im totally lost with what to do right now. 🙏🏽

Hi. Once you have your initial 90 day Non-O visa (retirement), is there ever a time when you must be inside Thailand for visa business? How does the initial 1 year extension or 90 day reporting get done if you're outside the country? Thanks.

2 questions…on my Thai bank account I put my friend on my account in case something happens to me he can withdraw the money and send to my family. I read somewhere if two names on the account have to deposit 800,000 bhat x 2= 1.6 mil bhat. For retirement visa. True or false. In USA I can put someone on my account as beneficiary and they show death certificate and they can withdraw funds. Can this be done in Thailand? No trolls pleeeez!
