Different? What option did you choose for a visa? I did employment.

I just tried to apply for a Non Immigrant B visa and I can NOT find any question about financial evidence. Where did you get asked for this?
Robert *******
NO, a Visa is issued with different dates on it and used to enter Thailand.

You can not renew it. You can apply at a local Immigration Office for an Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age, visit the office first to show your passport and visa and ask the hand out with requirements.

Best option is for both the Multiple Entry Non Immigrant O visa, as for the Extension of Stay based on Thai Children you need to have parental rights from family court or Amphuer depending on age of the child.

Just a birth certificate is not enough for an Extension of Stay at Immigration.

The only way to be certain is to contact the Thai Embassy mentioned on the first page when you start to apply for the visa.

I guess it is enough as they should understand that you are going to work when arrived in Thailand and will gain income.

No, You arrive at the airport, hand over your passport and get 30 days of stay based on the Visa Exempt Entry.

Then you visit an Immigration Office to apply for a 30 day Extension of Stay based on tourism.

Easier and more convenient is to apply before you even make your way into Thailand for the Single Entry Tourist Visa which gives you directly 60 days on entry and can be extended once at a local Immigration Office with another 30 days.

I'm not sure what you try to ask as it does not compare with the original question.

Please make your own post to avoid confusion.

Apply for 2 Dec for the Single Entry Tourist Visa and get 60 days on entry and enter in March using the Visa Exempt Entry, no need to spent one day at Immigration Office.

And if you leave just and enter again just before or on the last day of validity of the visa you still get 60 days of stay and can be extended once with another 30 days which makes it possible to stay almost 9 months.

Time to clear:

a Marriage visa is:

1. The 1 year Non Immigrant O visa based on marriage with Thai National

2. The Single Entry Non Immigrant O visa based on marriage with Thai National

3. Extension of Stay based on marriage with a Thai National.

Three different things but for easy of the person all named the same.

Name 1 is valid for 1 year and can be obtained from a Thai Embassy or for those legit on-line and gives people a 90 day stay at entry. With border runs it is possible to stay for a period of 15 months.

Name 2 is a Visa that can be used once and give you 90 days of stay, can be bought from a Thai Embassy or can be issued by conversion at Thai Immigration.

Name 3 comes into play for people who already have a Non Immigrant O visa, they can extend their 90 day stay for 60 days based on visiting family or with 1 year based on married to a Thai National.

And as you understand now the 3 different types of short named marriage visa you understand that there are different rules, regulations and laws for each one of them.

As we can not see passports to check your stamps as Immigration Officers love to do, we have to use your given information, best is to use the correct terminology as f.e. I have marriage visa can lead to incorrect advice based on a different option.

Good luck.
