Hey guys, my return flight to Ireland is Monday 3rd of Feb, I’ve changed my mind last minute and want to stay another 30 days, I’ll have a 3 day overstay by the time Monday comes, I’ve no idea how it works..will the immigration office in Bangkok let me extend my time? Afraid I’ll be declined and end up missing out on my flight back

The flight I need out of Thailand decreases in price by 10K (baht) 1 day after my 180 days is up. If I exit 1 day after my DTV visa stamp am I likely to lose the visa? I don't mind paying the 500b fee, though don't want my visa cancelled at Suwannabpoom. Anyone have similar experience to this? Thank

I was just wondering, what happens at the automated departure gates for some on overstay.

Do they stay closed and how is the fine paid ?

My 60 days expires on Jan 1st.

I was on my way to extend for 30 days but office closed from the 28th till the 2nd.

Is it possible to extend on the 2nd or have I already overstayed? If I have, what are my options right now?! Ty

I am facing following situation: I have been on a retirement visa for a few years but want to change it as I will only be in Thailand for a few months per year. I have tried to get the DTV visa which has not yet been approved.

Now I am planning to leave on Jan 8, 2025 and come back 2 days later on a tourist visa which will hopefully grant me a 60 days stay. I am planning then to extent for another 30 days.

I am leaving for Germany around the 28th March but had planned to go to Japan within this 30 days extension time (around 15-25 March).

Or should I not get an extension at all, do a 5 day overstay, pay and come back 10 days on another normal tourist visa before I go to Germany until October.

Is this at all possible?

As a french if I run out of visa on the 21st of december and I want to stay longer in Thaïland, how many days would I win if I go for a visa run on the 22nd of november in Ranong to Myanmar border ? (30 days more from the 21st of december or 30 days more from the 22nd of november (which would be pointless in that case...)?)

In the past there was a different no of days allocated to a visa on arrival for an overland entry (15 days) to Thailand vs an international airport entry (30 days)

Does the 60 days visa on arrival now apply to all methods of entry to Thailand. If the 60 day visa on arrival applies to border runs, how many of these can you do before they shut the door on you? Has anyone tested this validity? If so what is the number reached?

Looking a bit forward of that, is there any idea yet, when and how, the mooted 'Schengen' type S-E Asian visa will come into being? Either in a total model or a phased in model?

Also when does the Thai government $13.00 tourist tax kick in and will it be collected?

Hello, my daughter has her tourist visa expired since 30th of October, but she has hospitalized since the day before and we have a medical certificate.

What should we do? My guess is just by showing to the immigration at the airport with medical certificate we would not get the overstay stamp. Is that correct?

As she need to go out and we need to do a non O, could the overstay be a problem on that process?

My DTV was approved on Monday by the Thai Embassy in HCMC. I have a 10-month-old baby and would like to apply for her as a dependent. I have a few questions about applying for my child online:

Can the Thai Embassy in HCMC accept my bank statements to sponsor my child?

For the "occupation" field, since she's just a baby and not a student yet, what should I do?

We plan to travel to Thailand on November 2, and I'm worried I won't have enough time for her visa application. Is there any way to handle this situation without changing the flight date?
