Hi all,

Just finishing my E-visa (non-immigrant b) and it’s asking for financial evidence. I’ve searched everywhere for what this is, including this group and so far I’ve found 20,000thb or 700usd. I got a bank statement yesterday which has £468 in which I thought would be enough as it’s more than the 20,000thb but I’m just not sure what they’re looking for, so I don’t want to send it off until I’m certain.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is completing their application for a Non-Immigrant B visa and is uncertain about the required financial evidence. They have a bank statement showing approximately £468, which exceeds the 20,000 THB guideline, but they seek confirmation on whether this amount is acceptable before submitting their application.

I just tried to apply for a Non Immigrant B visa and I can NOT find any question about financial evidence. Where did you get asked for this?

Do you have the supporting documents from your Thai employer to submit with your Non B visa application?

What specifically is the financial proof required for the Non B visa as stated on the Thai Embassy website?

IF it's 20,000 Thai baht or equivalent... submit a copy of bank statement.

‘Financial evidence e.g. bank statements, proof of earnings, proof of sponsorship from a third party

Confirmation of legal residence in the UK or Ireland

If the applicant has appropriate qualification, the Embassy will issue a non-immigrant visa, type “B”, single entry with three months validity to the applicant within two working days. With this kind of visa, the applicant will be permitted to stay in Thailand not more than 90 days.’

This is all I could find on Thai embassy website.

Glad that you now have them.

Are you still planning on arrival into Thailand August 4th and start your teaching job the following week?

The only way to be certain is to contact the Thai Embassy mentioned on the first page when you start to apply for the visa.

I guess it is enough as they should understand that you are going to work when arrived in Thailand and will gain income.
