If I was in Thailand in October for 4 weeks is it to soon to go back again for 60/90 days in January. Or should I apply for a DTV soft course or a ME Visa if I want to stay longer.
Do you know if I can apply for a tourist visa (TR) to Thailand while I'm in Hong Kong? I'm not a Hong Kong resident, I'll be there on a tourist stamp, and I've read that to apply, I need proof of legal stay in HK, meaning at least a visa. Can anyone confirm that I can't apply on a tourist stamp?
Good morning everybody, if I want to arrange a land exit from Pai, could you advise me which is the best and cheapest way? For example is something possible to do it west side to Myanmar? Thanks.
My first entry was on January 10th and I stayed for 13 days before flying to vietnam for a 10 day holiday .
I then re entered thailand on did 60 day + 30 extension and stayed a total.of 76 days
I returned to the UK for 2 months then entered again for 4 days before going to Vietnam for a 1 week holiday then entered thailand again for 14 days before going back to UK and not coming back to Thailand for 3 and half.months .
My last visit was from November 3rd to 23rd .
I don't live in Thailand I work offshore and visit thailand on a lot of my time off .
I only did the long 76 day stay as I fell sick in Thailand so couldn't return to work so extended my stay .
By the 10th January I would have been in Thailand a total of 152 days since I entered on 10 jan 2025 .
It's too late for me to get a visa before I fly now .
I intend to get a proper visa for next time .
Do.you guys think I will be ok entering this time ?
My girlfriend and I flew in from Laos today to Don Mueang and she was flagged for multiple entries into Thailand. But they let her through. They made me show them that I had a booked flight back to America in January. We both made it through. But they are definitely screening people hard. I noticed other people being stopped and questioned. Just my first hand experience.
Is there any restrictions on how many non O visas for retirement you can have from your home country? I am not ready to commit the 800,000 yet to extend, i am not ready to stay longer than 90 days yet, and have had 4 visa exempt this year. Going home for Christmas tomorrow and back early next month for 7 weeks, then gone for 3 weeks and back late March. I cannot find any official that limits how many non O i can have.
If someone was twice in Thailand and can't apply for long term visa as nonO, then they cannot enter Thailand. Isn't it ridiculous? Isn't it against of human rights?
Don't hate, just thinking and want to get good conversation.
Edit
This isn't a thread for arguments or trolling. It's a philosophical discussion. As humans, we have a right to the earth as a planet. Or at least, that's how it should be.
And I'm not judging. Just speaking with you but it's too hard for some haters 😂😂
The risk of a soft power DTV application is getting too much. We need clear rules on what is allowed and what isn’t. People on here guessing or saying how it ought to be is all well and good, but without official rules we’re all clueless about the validity of this 5 year visa based on soft power courses
With DTV, remote worker Visa. Is it possible to get a Thai bank account? Need it because i bought a property and need to be able to anage the finances around it. Pay fees, taxes, rental income etc. Thanks
