I have a 60 day tourist visa and am flying from Australia in May. I have booked my return ticket 84 days after arrival as I intend to ask for the 30 day extension stamp.

Q - Will Thai immigration have a problem with this ?

FYI for you constructive advice

First time leaving out to ChaingKhan Border before 180 days due , is it still possible to go out as a first time DTV holder. Normally if you fly to Laos from ChaingMai , which city you are pick up for cost saving . Thank you’d

Travelling over to Thai in June I’m a bit worried to take my medication with me even with a Drs letter which I have I did a search and it’s saying I need to apply for a permit as well. Then when I logged onto the site it’s in Thai can’t read it. Anyone else have issues taking pain meds into the country ? last thing I want is to end up in trouble.

I am not going to renew the retirement visa which is due on 16apr and i am planning to leave on 15apr. As i will back to thailand later 1 week using visa exemption.

1. Do i need to cancel the retirement visa (with multiple re-entry) before i leave?

2. Will i be asked any question when i come back using visa exemption?

3. I may extend 30 days, again will i be asking any quesion (judging of having retirement visa before and now change to visa exemption.)

I want to visit for a month. What visa will I need? How many times can I enter the country this way? If I decide to retire in Thailand what do I need to do? I live about 1 1/2 hours from Washington DC. Would it be best to work through the Thai consulate.

Hi everyone,

I have been holding a workcation DTV visa for a year now and came back 4 times in that time period without any questions asked.

I'm seeing that more and more people get asked for 20k in cash. I'm currently in Vietnam because I had to leave after 6 months and will be back soon. I completely forgot to get cash before leaving and now I'm wondering if it's worth it get bleeded in Vietnam on atm withdrawal (they have a fee and you have to withdraw a lot of times as the limit seems quite low - I couldn't withdraw more than around 7k bahts per transaction) and most importantly I'll probably lose a few k on exchange rate here as they seem quite high.

Not sure what would be the best decision here. If anyone has a recent experience coming back with a DTV workcation in BKK airport that would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi, we are an Australian couple who usually live here for 3 months a year. Due to current ‘world climate and costs’ we want to stay an additional month. We have never done a visa run. This week in Phuket but from next week Khao Lak. Land boarder options are Malaysia or Myanmar (closer to Khao Lak but more risky???).

Any experiences/advice?

We think Malaysia is best?

🙏

I entered Thailand on the 2nd March visa exempt and only stayed 2 weeks, I have only visited once before this and it was over a year ago and only for a few weeks as well. Im looking at coming again at the end of April but Im not sure if I might have problems entering visa exempt again before the original 60 day stamp from march expires on the 30th April? Does anyone have any experience of this? Thanks
