Hi, went today at the Vientiane Thai Embassy to pay the 10k cash, do you know how long I need to wait for an answer about interview and how long for interview? Anyone’s done that recently? I really don't want to stay in Laos, I have been inside all day, not even want to go out for a walk or to go the gym :S
hello, so I applied for the DTV seven days ago in Hanoi and havent heard back. I have a flight for tomorrow to Korea. Do I have to remain in Vietnam while my visa is processing or can I leave. Also how would i get the visa sticker on my passport?
A little while ago I posted about going to Laos because it seemed impossible to get a non o visa inside Thailand.
We drove to Nong Khai and booked into a pleasant motel near the friendship bridge. We drove to the border checkpoint to scope it out to formulate a plan for the following day. We looked a bit lost and confused when talking to the security guard at the entrance. A lady came up to our car and spoke extensively to my wife and the following transpired.
This lady took all of my details on that day, the following day she picked us from our motel after having made all the necessary arrangements, she drove us across the border to a hotel in Laos. We had a very casual and relaxing three days in Laos and this stranger contacted my wife to say that I now had a non o visa.
During this time we had upgraded to a better hotel, regardless, our newfound guide picked us up from the airport, handed me my visa and drove us back to our original motel (where I left my car parked during our absence). For all of this she charged nine thousand baht. I wish I had known this a lot sooner, it would have saved a lot of time, money and inconvenience, I would highly recommend her services however, I am sure that if my Thai wife had not been with me to handle all communications the outcome could have been a little more difficult. Just thought I would share and if anyone would like to know more about my own personal experience, drop me a message on messenger.
Hey guys, I need some advice on a dual passport issue.
I have Israeli and French passports. Been in Thailand 2 years on a Non-B visa with the Israeli one, now switching to a student visa. The visa office asked me to re-enter with my French passport.
Problem: my flights are already booked like this:
-Chiang Mai → BKK → Vietnam (Israeli)
-Vietnam → BKK (French)
-BKK → Chiang Mai (Israeli) (booked this one long ago thats why its on israeli)
Goal is to enter Thailand on the French passport, but the flights are mixed. Did I mess up?
Since my tickets from Vietnam in on my french one ill need to enter Vietnam with my french one too isnt it?
