On DTV, can we exit to Malaysia and come back on same day? Or we have to spent days?

hello, is the 60 day free visa on arrival still going for american tourists? i just flew back to usa to get a new passport. if not does anyone know of any expedited visa services that take 2-3 days for acceptance? i receive my new passport back on wednesday, the 20th and my flight is on monday the 25th. any suggestions of what i should do? any suggestions and information would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Need some advice regarding land border entry for tourism.

Nationality: Indian, eligible for 60 day visa free entry

1. Planning to fly in to BKK, travel to the north for 7 days (Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai) , cross-over to Laos, and take the boat to Luang Prabang, and spend 10 days in Laos.

2. Cross over to Thailand via Nong Khai border (avail visa free entry), travel Nong Khai to BKK , then take the bus from BKK to Siem Reap (Cambodia).

3. Stay in Cambodia for 10 days, crossover again to Thailand from Aranyaprathet, and fly back to India.

Key questions:

1. Is the visa free entry scheme for Indian citizens valid for these 2 border crossings- Nong Khai and Aranyaprathet. I have seen reports of some Indians being denied entry at Nong Khai and asked to fly from Vientiene to Bangkok instead.

2. Is there any restriction on the number of times a person can avail the visa free entry scheme, (i will be entering Thailand 3 times within a period of 30 days, before finally flying back to India)

3. Am i expected face any additional scrutiny or entry denial on account of my nationality, vs say a person from a first world country?

Hi. I visited Thailand several times over the past 12 months either overland or by air. Each arrival was visa exempt with an Australian passport.

My last arrival was in June this year through Suvanabhumi Airport. On this occasion I was taken aside by an immigration supervisor and I was told I was entering Thailand too frequently on visa exempt stamps and that I should apply for a eVisa instead.

Now I would like to make a short visit on short notice.

The eVisa seems to require 10 days to process and I have to purchase a ticket prior to applying.

Would it be a mistake to ignore the warning I received on my last arrival and just show up and hope for a trouble free visa exempt stamp on arrival. Or would you advise applying for an eVisa?

Hi, I have read back through various posts and am across the 60 day visa exemption and possible 30 day extension ( we are Australian and British Passport holders ), but for various reasons, we are going to stay 97 days. Happy to do a trip to Malaysia by air for a few days, but I cannot see any comment as to whether a second visa exemption entry would be possible, or if there is a restriction as to the number of times this is allowed. Appreciate any relevant advice.

Hello. Where is the fastest place to get a 30 day extension of stay for a visa exempt stamp in Bangkok?

Dtv visa granted from london embassy but the valid until is the same as valid from, anyone had this or can advise? Already emailed the embassy but travel on the 29th of this month.

Seeking advice for my Son who is currently stopped at immigration inside the Chiang Mai airport after a border run.

Immigration said he’s come and gone to many times and they won’t allow him back in to get his belongings from Lanna Muay Thai, where he’s been training. They made him buy a flight back to Malaysia.

How do I get my son back to Chiang Mai, Thailand? He has to get his stuff and use his return flight home.

Any advice helps.
