I've just been approved for a non o retirement visa. I applied in the UK. My Thai wife is with me. We are planning to return to Thailand late May.

What are the next steps I need to do to get the 12 months extension. Do I need to go to the British embassy? Do I need to get my passport translated?

Please explain to me in simple terms please. TIA

Hello I am very confused with the immigration rules in Thailand because they keep changing I have been here twice this year it accounts to around 70 days can I still make another trip to Thailand later this year or do I have to apply for a Visa

Is it mandatory now to have a signed lease (with copies of all the owner docs) in order to get a Non-O Extension based on retirement? I recall years ago I flew in and re-extended while staying in a hotel. They made me draw a map to the hotel to the Nana Hotel. Is that no longer possible? Thanks!

I have a 60 day tourist visa and am flying from Australia in May. I have booked my return ticket 84 days after arrival as I intend to ask for the 30 day extension stamp.

I'm about to go to immigration in Korat regarding the 12 month extension. The 800,000 baht has been in account for the required 2 months. Question does the bank statement have to be done on same day as going to immigration or can it be dated the day before. I'm in Pak Chong. Hour and 15 minute drive to Korat.

I have a question about the annual extension of stay for my Non-O marriage visa at Chiang Mai Immigration. For the past two years, I've submitted my application around November 11th (TM.7 form, financials, marriage docs, etc.), received the "under consideration" stamp valid for about 30 days, and then returned in January (9ish) for the final one-year approval stamp. Each time, they asked about upcoming travel plans, and I said no vacation planned.

This year, I need to travel to Canada from December 23rd to January 23rd to visit family. Is it possible to leave during the "under consideration" period if I obtain a re-entry permit beforehand? What happens when they want me to report in person if I am away on that date, do I go in as soon as I am back in Chiang Mai?

Has anyone successfully done this recently at Chiang Mai Immigration Office? Any advice or experiences appreciated—thanks so much!

Quick question, we are moving over in August and im upto date on getting bank account no problem. I read today that for your extension that they need a rental agreement for 6 or 12 months to apply for there extension.

We are having a house built and are only renting for 4 months? Hopefully if it's finished on time. The person who wrote it did not say from what visa he's extension was for.

Mine will be from NonO married.

Will 4 months rental be okay or will my house build contract be okay.

I understand each IO will make there own decision. I will be doing this in Hui Hin.

I just bought my ticket for arrival in July. proximately 90 days. I was wondering if I could pay for the extension now online.

I am concerned that they may actually cut back the 60+30. And one would think anyone buying the ticket before the change would be safe but nothing is guaranteed.

Thoughts and helpful advice would be nice.
