I’m on a 60 day tourist visa. I had a visa in May, and extended it for 30 days. My question is can I get an extension on my current visa under the new rules, and what are my options if I want to stay in Thailand if I can’t extend the current tourist visa?

I want to change my non o visa to a retirement visa, I'm still working I'm over 50. Do I need the 800.000baht on a thai account?#

I have a 90 day o visa as a spouse which ends Dec 9th I have applied for a 1year extension and immigration have stamped my passport extension of stay is under consideration must contact them by 8th of January also recieved a receipt notification confirming the date I applied for the extension 19/11/25 which also says this is not an extension of stay please notify your address again on 16 Feb 2026 A little confused pls advise

When you arrive in Thailand with a non O visa, how long does it take to change it to a retirement visa

I entered the Kingdom through Laos with a e-Visa, a 90 day single entry non-O taking care of my Thai children. I live in Thailand but work abroad on a six weeks rotation.

Can I change this Visa to a non-O multiple entry 1 year Visa??

When going for a one year extension of the O retirement visa do you need to have color copies of your passport pages or black-and-white is OK? 

Hi folks, on Nov 30th my 2 month Visa Exemption will expire. I’m now in a town where I can do a visa exemption extension.

My question is, because there are still 5 days before my visa exemption expires, if I do the extension now, will the extension begin from the Nov 30th expiry, OR will it start from the moment the visa officer validates the extension?

When doing the 90 day reporting at Bangkok CW in person, does it have to be on the exact date or is there some flexibility like on the online reporting?

Also, is it possible to do the 90 reporting and then apply to renew my retirement extension, which will be due 3 weeks after, on the same day, saving a return trip.

So i finally got my non-o retirement visa at Jomtien, based on 800k in the bank.

It says admitted on 10 november 2025 and valid until 7 february 2026.

They said I can apply for the one year extension after the 7th of january.

My last bankbook update is from the 28 october. This is an account i use only for the visa.

At what dates should i do bank moves and updates so the 800k appears correctly for the extension in January. I am afraid to screw it up...

I am currently on a non-O work visa as a teacher, and I have resigned. My visa  well go back to tourist and I am leaving the country in December and returning on a tourist visa. My plan is to move out of the country in May. Here is my question. I will be traveling  to Sri Lanka just shy of my 60 days back in the country. Then I will be back in the country until 11 April and out for a few days in Cambodia, then back here for about 30 days  before I leave for good.  I am worried about the two entry rules. Should I do an extension on my first tourist visa right before I leave for Sri Lanka and then come back in on a 60 day visa, and then still be able to return from Cambodia on a tourist visa before I leave for good? I hope this makes sense. 😂
