some offices want tthe day of application, others 1 or 2 days old and there are even offices who say 1 week old is okay.

That is the reason why we always tell, get the hand out with requirements first at your local office.

I guess you apply for this visa based on being married to a Thai National.

1. yes and be aware that after 60 days you can apply for a 1 year Extension of Stay but than the minimum of 400.000 Thb needs to be at least 2 months on that account.

2. yes

3. Yes, you need an address as the Immigration is going to visit that address to see if your marriage is de jure and de facto.

You need to upload the hotel accommodation you booked for at least the first few days as answer to question 5.

Tod Daniels was refering to a Thai ID card which is not needed.

@Nik ****
This is the question, so you upload:

Proof of accommodation in Thailand, booking hotel or guesthouse

OR

an invitation if you stay at private property.
Robert *******
Correct, if you stay in a private property the question is who invites you into that property. You can change the place where you stay in f.e. hotel or guesthouse

Yes, you can use the visa to do a border run and get a new 1 year stay BEFORE the valid until date on the visa, or apply for a 1 year Extension of Stay at local Immigration before your Admitted until date stamped in your passport.

Time to close, people have to fly from a country to Thailand and enter Thailand, with a birth certificate that does not going to happen, passports are needed.

Not financially fined for overstay only works for people who got a stay inside Thailand, I do not know the rules in Australia.

The way to apply for a Thai passport for a Thai person in Thailand has not much to do with Thai Visa Advice.

Thanks to al.

yes, 90 days on entry. plus 60 days extension based on visiting family, makes 150 days. BUT be aware that some Immigration Offices only allow 1 (one) time this 60 day extension during the complete life time of the visa.

IF you have the 1 year Multiple Entry Non Immigrant O visa, you get 90 days of stay, just before the last day, you make a border run to get a new 90 day period.

There is no 30 day Extension of Stay possible on this visa, depending on how long you like to stay inside Thailand, you might ask for a 60 day Extension of Stay to visit family.
