My advice is contact your school, get all needed documents to apply for the Non Immigrant ED visa and then come back to Thailand using that visa.

You are refused with a reason, which is not to long inside Thailand. Make sure you have the 3 proofs that can be asked: onward travel, accommodation and 20.000 thb or equivalent currency in cash.

These are the reasons a person can be denied entry:

PS: if you previous ED visa was to learn Thai, you should be able to speak some Thai.

You do the 90 days reports at the Immigration Office where your home address is registered.

Be aware that those and borders are ONE WAY, to get into Thailand.

Not open for stamp out, stamp in - out and return within 5 minutes.

My last advice, go to find out yourself. There is NO WAY others can tell you or Facebook comments can predict the answer of the Immigration Officer in front of you. All you can do is be prepared with the so many times explained of the needed documents and explain why you think you are legit for another 60 days inside Thailand. Good luck.

confusing? Yes as it depends on the Officer to believe if you are unable to travel.

You have to go by your own, a Facebook comment from another person can not be used to pursue the Immigration Officer to stamp your passport with an Extension of Stay based on you being unable to travel.

People with a Maldive passport get also the 30 day Visa Exempt Entry which can be extended once with another 30 days.

But if he like to stay longer he can visit the Thai Embassy before he makes his way to Thailand and apply for the single Entry Tourist Visa which give him 60 days on entry and can be extended once with another 30 days.

19 years in Thailand, never had the comment that I'm to long here.

And how scary the phrase "They denied a half plane full of people" sounds it still means that the other half did get the visa that fits their purpose and length of stay and entered Thailand without any problems.

Avoid extra costs by flying around the globe to jump hoops and play games, get the correct visa and you can stay inside Thailand without fear of being cought out.

a Thai bank account and a condo in Thailand does not prove you are a tourist or not.

Use it.
