I just graduated from a local private Thai university as an International student and about to get a job offer- like the company is processing the required documents for Non Immigrant Type-B (to work Thailand) visa.
For the visa, I want to apply in Vietnam- Ho Chi Minh Thai Consulate. Just wondering, can foreigners that don't have residency in Vietnam apply there?
Hi. Sorry to reach out again but my daughter's in a fix and running out of options. She is on a COVID extension that expires end of this month. She was on a Non Ed visa before, just graduated from high school. Does anyone here know if it's possible at all to change from a COVID extension visa (stamp) to a Non Immigrant visa? And if you have done it, can you share what type of visa it was and how long it took? Thanks.
When first receiving a Non Immigrant-O-VISA for retirement purposes based on being over 50 years of age within Thailand (Jomtien Immigration specifically/applying next week), My understanding is that it is good for 90 days initially before you need to apply for an extension of stay on day 60 or thereafter? Please correct me if I'm wrong! QUESTION: Must I remain in the country for the first 60 days before I can apply for the extension of stay or am I allowed to exit the country and reenter on a single entry permit and then apply for it when I come back? Also, once I receive an extension of stay, is that good for 1 year with 90 day reports thereafter? Just trying to fully understand. Thanks!
i have a short question just to clarify, can be deleted if i just repeat posts - starting tomorrow there might be another program that allows TR visa to be covid extended, but for every other visa like non immigrant not? what do they do then? normal extension for them like every 3 months?
Got my Non Imm O transferred to my new passport yesterday (Cost: 500Baht) I also asked to transfer my Multi Rentry Permit. But that was not done. The IO said I could continue to use my Rentry Permit in the old passport. Is that normal?
Hi Everyone. Newbie here. Great advice on this forum. I have a Thai wife and got the Non Imm 90day visa to enter. I’m over 50 and a condo owner in BKK.
May I ask what extension options there are apart from going thru the Marriage or Retirement Visa? (Like do a COVID 60 day extension or family visit)
And if I do extend, can I start the process for a Marriage or Retirement visa also?
Hello. I just come back from Immigration Hua Hin.The three months ago I was living in Chiang Mai. When I arrived there, the houseowner in Chiang Mai made TM 30 and I went to Immigration with TM 28. Now back in Hua Hin I went to Immigration, prepared TM 30 and TM 28 again. I read many times, that EVERYBODY has to report TM 28 at Immigration in within 24 hours and as a houseowner TM 30. I have a non Imm Visa 50+. Today I was told by Staff number 1 first and from her boss later that a) a houseowner (I have yellow book) does NEVER has to make TM 30 if he comes back to the address in the yellow book and b) owners of a yearly visa do NEVER have to make TM 28, it is enough to make 90 days,
So as a matter of fact, in my passport my Chiang Mai address is noticed and this is no problem for Immigration Hua Hin. I like when it is getting easier BUT can I believe that?
