How to know where to do the first 90 day reporting in Bangkok? I see there are 2 places (I think), one in Chamchuri Square and the other one near Laksi
I have been out of the country and came back on 2 August. I did my 90 day report online yesterday and it got rejected this morning.
1. Going through some of the posts on this topic, I read that if it is the first 90 Day Report after you have been back into the country, you need to go in person to Chaeng Wattana.
Can you confirm ?
2. Can't you make an appointment online for a TM47 report before you go? I went online to book an appointment, but the [Make an appointment] button is dead ( see attached screenshot)
Thank you for any feedback on the two points above.
Question: do i have to go to chaeng wattana to notify for 90 days? Anyone can guide me how to do it online? What conditions do not support online notification? Thank you!
My 90 day report is due on 9th April. I have been trying to do it online : rejected 3 times ( yes, I checked the address so it matches the one on my TM30).
I will keep trying but it looks like I have to treck to Chaeng Wattana 😒
Now, I just went online to book an appointment but could only get one for the 17th April, as all dates before the 17th are full.
My understanding is that you still have a week after the due date of your report to do it. So in my case, I have until 16th April.
Question 1: is this going to be an issue if I rock up at Chaeng Wattana one day late, after the deadline? Or should I go there earlier without an appointment?
Question 2: I guess, in the meantime, I can continue and try to submit my 90 report online , hoping that at some point I will get it right ?
Last time I had a 30 days extention I did it at immigration at Chaeng Wattana.
After a border run I today again visited immigration at Chaeng Wattana for an new 30 days extension, but they sent me to immigration at Lak Si to do it.
Hi- I am a US citizen on a Non-B visa (married to Thai wife) and looking to do another yearly extension at ChaengWattana by June 07, 2024.
I saw I can apply for an extension 30 days prior (?) to my permitted stay date of June 07 which would be as early as May 08, but the main issue is I will be on overseas travel from May 2-12 and then again May 21-June 16.
Given that I'll only be in BKK from May 13-20, what are my options for extending my visa, especially if there is the 'under consideration' period (3 weeks?) where they hold your passport?
